I met this guy 4 1/2 years ago. On July 4th actually. We have a past. A weird one which I'm not gonna go into detail about. Over these 4 1/2 years, we went 2 of without talking/seeing each other at all because we were both going through so much BS. He called me a few months ago, asked me to come with him somewhere for a few since he was passing through town. I accepted the invite since it's been forever since we've hung out/talked. He told me to come by one weekend and hang with him. All weekend. A couple months later, I drove to his house. Intention to stay the night and leave the next day. He had a ton of friends over and this one girl who didn't seem to want to leave us alone for more then 5 minutes. She would always be hanging off of him whenever I was around.

He told me they weren't together and were just friends. They had a little drinking party going on while I was there. I didn't drink at all because I had a red flag going on in the back of my mind thinking "what if I really don't want to stay overnight? Maybe I should just leave later tonight." Which is what I ended up doing because the girl passed out in his bed drunk, instead of where his friend tried to put her, assuming it's because I was over.

He felt bad about it and gave me the option to leave if I wanted. I thought a few minutes about it, and decided it was probably best. So he gave me a bear hug, and as I was getting ready to walk out the door. He looked at me with sad eyes but a slight smile on his face, reached his hand out to touch my face, rubbing his thumb over my cheek and said "I'm sorry, it was nice to see you though. Send me a text when you get home so I know you made it." I weakly smiley at him and said "I will... bye."

After that, I walked out. Headed to the car, and left.

I'm not sure if he's trying to hide that he likes me? This has been going on for a while. He acts like he does though. Help?
