Around the New Year’s countdown, an Irish channel showed a comedy sketch of God being apprehended on rape charges. Inevitably, it wasn’t well-received by the religious. However, over the last few decades, we Irish have worked hard to remove religion from having any influence over our society and media, even if it may still be there in the background.

Were RTE (the channel in question) right to apologise to the 600 snowflakes (out of a population of 5 million) who complained about mere acting, or should freedom of art continue to be practiced unapologetically in a country where blasphemy laws were abolished a few years ago anyway? Why should we appease the religious all over again? Nothing wrong with having religious communities and diversity, I’m just sick of them acting like their feelings are more important than our humourous culture!

during some diagnosis of my tachometer, i found that my choke wire that previous owners were using was tapped from the 6 volt ignition primary wire... that ain't right... so i have no choke wire now... but i could devise one... she's having some difficulty starting in these cold mornings, but it ain't the end

There is almost 2 1/2 months Trump will be in office as a lame duck. We've had partisan changes of Administration before but never one with the loser such a petulant child. (His Personality Disorder is "Malignant Narcissist"). Angry at the rejection, facing huge loans coming due with a lack of a way to pay them, fearful of prosecution on both Federal and State levels (he cannot pardon himself of state crimes, if he even CAN pardon himself) he is likely to seek revenge on his victorious opponents and the nation that repudiated him. How will it play out? Please explain your selection.
