Im 14. So, my mom is going to Washington DC on Monday and staying until Thursday. She is staying at the Westin in George Town. The hotel room has a king bed and sofa in it (not sofa sleeper). My sister and her boyfriend are going down at the same time but are staying at The wink and have a room to themselves. My mom is in grad school and is going down to take clinical classes from 10am-7pm Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is 8am-5pm and Thursday is 10am-3pm. She wants to leave before 5pm on Thursday. It’s a 6 hour car ride. My mom told me I can walk around and look at monuments and go into museums. Would that be fun to do by myself? She won't let me use Uber or rent a bike. I can’t take the train anywhere and she won’t buy a bus pass. She told me to walk. A lot of places are over a 45 minute walk and it’s supposed to be hot. I might also have to share a bed with her or I can take the couch. I’ve also never been to DC before so I don’t know my way around. I love to plane watch and she said it’s kinda near Ronald regan airport. I have to walk around by myself during the day. Will it be any fun? She’s also only giving me $50 a day for spending money like to buy food and what not. It’s also gonna be in the upper 80s next week.
