there's a lot of attention on mens actions recently and thought that men might do some good from serious mainstream topics of sexism, toxic masculinity, patriarchy etc. im not discrediting the weight of the matter im juat saying the weight can be overwhelming. god knows i need a break every now and then. i know people may say the whole world is saying "ur the man!" "be a man!" "men! men! men!"but they usually cheer because u did something amazing, revolutionary, built another tesla or iphone or climbed up an apartment complex to save a child but men are good enough without all that. it can be sobering to think that bad people are ruining ur reputation as a man and that all hope is lost but u are good enough. its good to step away from the phone, computer, tv for a while. men shouldn't feel pressured into or feel the need to prove themselves all the time. and no, i dont think saying this will set women back 100 years in time and i dont think other women would think that either. if its about equality we should be supporting both.
