I am NOT good at all in dealing with death. She fell and hit her head last spring and hasn't been the same ever since (not remembering who anyone is, slurring her words, barely responding, staring at the ceiling). She is permanently blind, has brain damage, and now she has kidney failure (this started last week) they have her on morphine pills and she's in hospice. She is 94. Today, we just got the news that she has stopped eating and drinking all together. She has gotten significantly worse and if we want to visit her to say goodbye it has to be this week, because they don't think she will make it to next week. I have NEVER been to a funeral, but I have dealt with pets dying and it takes me MONTHS to recover! We would visit her on Thursday. I just hate to see her suffer on her death bed and I know I'm gonna cry. I can't believe all this has happened in a year. I have also heard some people say their dying relatives hold out on death until people who they want to visit, visit them and I really don't want her to die when were there. I don't want to get haunted, I'm scared of that too. She's a really sweet lady and funny and I'm so sad about all of this. It's not fair. I have this LED light up angel she gave me in 4th grade and I want it to be placed in her casket when she dies but I can't even look at it without completely losing it! Should I visit her? What do I say? Should I give her the angel then or wait until she's dead?

Let's say your 27 years old. You were adopted and never met your biological mother but one day you met your 20 year old half sister named Rachel. Rachel has a three year old son. and the father of the child used to be Rachel's math teacher. You find out you had a twin sister but your biological mother killed her when she was 2 months old. Rachel finds out about you guy's mother dying. She smiles and giggles at the funeral in front of other family members. When she found out about the mom being stabbed to death she just smiled and laughed in front of everyone. She wanted to have a party at the end of the funeral. Her son smiles and giggles along with her.
