I'm an 18 year old guy. Well as a toddler I'd wink at women. Years ago I started doing somethings. Like I'd try to impress girls, female teachers tell them "I'm six foot" stand taller. Try to make them laugh smile, make good eye contact with them and if they're open I'll move in closer to them. I'll try to make eye contact with them and make good eye contact. Even with female teachers I'll get shy have a hard time making eye contact in the hall and even say hi, get really shy. I was offered a ride by a girl I accepted it. I'd tease a girl by shining a laser pointer in her eyes. Call a couple of girls short. Offered to help out my teacher when she was moving. She was asking another student and I tried to her attention and offered to help. Get closer to a girl if she's receptive. Whisper something in her ear. Laugh at female teachers jokes loudly. I said "you never age" to one of them. I said to one "you can be my women crush Wednesday". Tell a Red Cross nurse I'm blushing because of her when she said my cheeks were red. One time I spooned with a woman when her husband was around at a BBQ party. If a woman makes eye contact with me or I catch her staring I'll make strong eye contact back. I'll try to establish eye contact. I might keep on breaking it and look back at them when they're staring. Am I just friendly with women or would I be considered a big flirt.

So my 30th birthday is coming up and I feel a bit down about it. One thing that gets me down is I'm going to be 30 and still a virgin. Not just that but I also never actually had a girlfriend. Actually I never even kissed a girl. This makes me feel like some weirdo or a loser.

I mean I have gone on a few dates before but not many, less then 10. I have had a handful of women ask me out on dates but for the most part I would just turn them down since I wouldn't be interested in them.

I only asked out a few women myself, less then have asked out me. But the thing for me is I find I have to get to know a girl and become her friend before I start to find myself interested in dating her. So by this point they usually just see me as a friend or they have lost interest in me or they were never interested in me to begin with. That and I am just horrible at picking up on when someone is flirting with me or is interested in me, I just assume they are being friendly.

I like to think that I'm a normal, nice guy. But just had bad luck. That and I'm a bit of an introvert so I have trouble meeting and opening up to new people. I wouldn't consider myself unattractive and I have had many women tell me they find me attractive so I don't see it as that. Whenever anyone mentions my past relationships or sexual partners I just lie since I find it so embarrassing.

I'm curious what women think of a guy like me. Do they see me as weird and a loser? Would they actually have an interest in dating a guy like me or no? What are just their general thoughts on a guy like me? Any advice you have for me to help me change this situation I'm in? Give me your honest opinion.
