I met a girl and we exchanged numbers and have talked endlessly until last week. She's been through her fair share of bad experiences and told me that guys dragged her heart into relationships only to abandon her at the end. We became exclusive when it came to seeing one another.

Last week out of the blue she told me that she is easily stressed. She is currently undergoing a custody battle with an ex boyfriend and she claims to me that she doesn't have the mental capacity to be in a relationship. I asked her if she still liked me and she said yes and that she enjoys talking with me. She also told me she "thinks" she wants to be with me.

As of late however she has actively avoided responding to me. I figured I would just wait for the whole legal thing go blow over but when you're actively being ignored or ghosted upon, it definitely does suck the hope out of you.

I have taken this as a sign that she wants space or is pushing me away in a "nice" way.
