The problem is am short at 5 foot 6 (which is a major turn off to women), average looking an build. Plus with societys expectations in todays world its just too hard of a competetion unless your tall and goodllooking or average height with good looks or money etc etc, well I dont have to say you know the score. Women want too much that I just can't offer like money, looks and its exhausting that i just dont want to chase women anymore because its making me feel empty inside with all these rejections.

I look after my self by dressing smart, styling my hair, work out and have general confidence around them and most women like my sense of humour to make them laugh and enjoy my company but they just dont find me sexually attractive or appealing because i dont look like what a ideal man should look like in a womens eyes and I know this because of all the nice looking lads that are bigger than me just have to say hi or make eye contact to get their attention and their the lads that get approached. I have never been in a relationship before just only one night stands and at 22 have just learned to enjoy my own company to be fair. So deep down am not alone or anything... its just the people that make you feel alone which am seeing quite clearley right now.

All am saying is there's only so much I can do to make my self look better like how I dress, workout whatever and none of them seem to work the only solution I have is to focus on making more money to attract and yeah i know its horrible to say that but in this life some people have to make do with the cards their dealt with. Am not asking for your pity just the solution to my question because am lost on what to do on this scenario... like i said dont pity me because I have good friends, family that love me and finacially secure with qualifications so am not that bad, am just a very a unlucky man in some parts of my life which I can't control much over of.

In other words him walking up and talking to you, before you even notice him first, like smiling and giving him eye contact. Would that matter as long as he had something nice to say that didn't turn you off, and from then on, you and him hit it off? After all, women do say they like guys with confidence and complain about why guys don't approach them.

I'm an 18 year old guy who has some premature balding, it came on when I got medical exhaustion a while back and my body cut nutrients to non essential functions, (nails stopped growing etc) anyway normally the hair recovers but in my case it made it vulnerable to DHT the testosterone that causes baldness at an old age, now I'm not fully bald or receding really just thin all over so I opted to shave it, to the skin, so when I say I'm bald I mean Howie Mandell skin shaven head. People say it looks good on me. (Surprising as I'm a paler guy more on the slender side, but I've even had a friends girlfriend tell him 'I am worried because I don't think you'll pull it off as good as(insert my name here)-I couldn't even imagine him with hair.' When he asked if she would care if he shaved it. People say I look 21-22 who don't know me so it hasn't aged me, thanks to the baby face, and I really viewed it as something some girls wouldn't like but most wouldn't care about or even would like if I pursued them. However my confidence plummeted when I read on hairloss forums guys saying that being bald young is kryptonite to young women, you can forget about having an attractive young girlfriend, you'll have to severely lower standards if you want to date etc. And they used to pull all the girls and now nothing, I've never had a legit girlfriend and admit looks do matter I have decently high standards and girls do too, so will this make dating harder, and is it a dealbreaker for most young women? Please be honest and picture if one approached you at a party or on the street before you answer.

If women wants men to always rely on noticing a woman is looking at him with eye contact and a smile on her face, just so he can walk up and talk to her, doesn't that make it seem like she's the one who's making the first movie? She may not be making the first move physically but emotionally.

If men have to always rely on watching a woman's signals, then that means he doesn't have confidence to walk up an talk to her on his own, like her time is more important than his time. If women don't like it when a guy gives her eye contact and a smile on his face, just to let her know it's okay for her to go talk to him, then that's a double standard.

Ladies, have you ever not rejected a guy who has walked up and talked to you before you even notice him at all, and from then on you and him exchange numbers or even started a relationship together?

You'll proabably say (what does it matter) well the thing is, most women will brag way too much about how they have it easy in the dating world compared to men who have it hard if they want to look for that special someone. That will make them women feel more invincible and males are beneath them.

I can understand if an over confident, creepy guy walking up to a woman, getting rejecting cause he said something cheesy, but if a great guy who sees a woman he likes was genuine and kept the conversation light once he walk towards her, without her expecting him to do so, then why should she have anything against that? As long as she's single and he made her feel confortable

On this site, I hear women complain about why guys don't approach them, that's why I'm asking this question to see if they actually do like it if a guy approach them (even if she didn't give him a flirty signal for him to come approach her)... I mean after all it shouldn't always take for a guy to rely on a woman to make eye contact with a smile on her face, just so he can talk to her, that would make it seem like he doesn't have confidence.
