Before you say anything, I don't think having women in lead roles is a bad thing. Heck, one of my favorite video games has a 99% female military who have been sustaining a war for 5,000 years and that never messes up anything in whole game (mostly cuz it's from japan but whatever)

In this day and age you'll find a lot of crap about forcing women in stronger roles in video games. Not out of actual passion, like writing a good, deep, relatable character, but only out of the need to catering to feminists and SJWs. When it's done for the latter reason, it often comes at the price of good character development, good story, and in some cases historical accuracy.

When people deny submitting to these people a game/movie can still sell extremely well (Farcry 5, Infinity War, God of War 2018, Kingdom Come: Deliverance) which hammers home the implication that these people don't even play games/see these movies and are just trying to control the minds of the people

So that just makes me wonder, do you actually care whether a protagonist is male or female? And more importantly, do you think it's important that that character was put into a lead role out of passion and care and not out of forced inclusion and feminists? Please be honest.
