I'm 23 years old and am really jaded with the whole dating game. I am a relaxed and laid back kind of person but every time I start dating a girl or, god forbid, get into a relationship it ends up being an incredibly stressful clusterfuck. I've been in university for the last few years and it's as if everyone here is insecure to the point of insanity and don't want proper loving relationships because they don't think about others, just what other people think of them.

I have been chasing women since I was about 16, that's 7 years. In that time I have had very few positive experiences. Mostly it's just been damn hard work and stress, lately I haven't been able to find a girl that I even WANT to go out with because I can see the relationship being a shit show from the very start.

I'm about to leave college now and enter "the real world". My question is, does dating and relationships get easier as people get older and more mature? Or is it just the same.
