Search Results: gag user name

I feel like I know which user wrote this, but when I took the screenshot (well over a year ago on here), I never included his username in there anyway, plus this question would probably get taken down if I mention it. His name wasn't just cropped out, I used Snipping Tool.

If I could find the question where the user wrote it, I'd link it (it was on GAG), but I've looked and can't seem to find it, though I'm pretty sure it was a reply to someone else's opinion on a question that lead to or encouraged gender bashing.

My own thoughts will be posted in the question update.

I've seen different threads debating the use of anon when posting on GaG. I don't use it but I do think there is value if someone wants to share something that is personally uncomfortable like a bad experience or an embarrassing decision they made. For posts like that, anon is a good way for folks to share.

But... what I continue to scratch my head about are the angry and mean anons. They anonymously call people names or say stuff that is racist or sexist or homophobic or a host of other not nice things. If they felt that strongly about a topic or their opinion or belief, why not stand behind the comment with their GaG user name?

I am curious what others think is the reason why. And yes... I will leave anon as an option of course. Be interesting if get some angry anon folks to provide first hand reasons :)
