By "too short", I don't mean as in the amount of skin it shows. I mean "too short" as in a high risk of flashing her panties.

I ask this because my girlfriend's skirts and dresses are all slightly above the knee, but at the same time she's a very active girl, running around, dancing, and twirling a bit. When sitting down she also tends to cross legs and change leg positions rather quickly. And though initially her skirt or dress is only slightly above the knee, during some of these activities it briefly rises to like about mid-thigh.

And though it's kind of hot since I find female legs attractive, I also fear of second-hand embarrassment for my girlfriend... I can't help but feel that sometime or later she's gonna flash.

I brought this up this up to her and she just laughed and told me that she not once had a moment where she flashed.

But I can't help but doubt her a little, because when she's having fun, she seems to care very little how much her skirt or dress rises up to about mid-thigh.

Imho the women look great, but the men just look awkward as hell.

I'm not saying that because I'm straight, either. I'm actually bi, lol.

It's just how it looks. For the women having their thighs out like that suits them, but for the men it looks like they just didn't have any clean shorts to wear and just wore their girlfriend's.

Now I'm NOT saying that men must wear super long shorts, either.

But just longer than the short shorts shown above, lol.

Also, perhaps too tmi of a question, but what kind of underwear did those guys in short shorts even wear? Because that's definitely much shorter than my boxers, lol.

Did they wear panties? Or just no underwear at all? Lmao.
