My sister's friend has been back to her country with her parents since 2012. The reasons are unknown.

Base on the story, the boyfriend had issues with the mother. The lady treated him horrible. Then they went back to their country. The guy called and she issued him a long fake apology over the phone and has faked a friendship with him for 7-8 years as a way to urge him to bring gifts and come and fix their papers, to get him to marry her daughter (throught marriage visa) since he's a permanent resident.

The guy had another thing in mind and that was to come and stay in her country instead once he becomes a US citizen. That's when the mother kept insisting that they get married in the US. He already knew she was being a fake, manipulative person but that confirmed it all. Only recently in Sept of 2020, bad things happened to her and suddenly she's sorry for everything and finally wants nothing but their happiness. Too late though... the guy doesn't want her friendship at all. If you had to grade this, how cruel is using people as a ticket to get you or someone else a Green Card?

In August, me and my bestie admitted to liking each other. He then told me he wanted a relationship with me and he loves me.
I’m a lesbian but since developing feelings for him, I don’t know what I am anymore. I’ve just got to the point of not wanting a label. I am who I am.
We’ve both slept with each other twice since admitting our feelings and we’ve also had massive arguments, as you can imagine.
Recently he’s all that’s crossing my mind, I’m thinking about him far too much. I keep showing people pictures of him and saying ‘how cute is he?’, that’s how bad I’m getting haha.
I have three reasons for not wanting a relationship with him: 1) I’ve never properly dated a man before (it’s scary). 2) what if I miss sleeping with girls and go out and cheat on him? It would be unintentional but I just know how much I prefer girls. 3) what if it ruins our friendship? I don’t want to lose my best friend.
I’ve told him all this and he said ‘I’ll give you permission to sleep with girls whenever you want. I won’t let it ruin our friendship, nothing will ruin it. We can take it slowly until you’re used to it’.
He always gives me reassurance but i just feel like that’s not enough. The thought of dating a man is really scary.
I’ve even deliberately invited him around my house today, telling him I want help decorating my room. When in reality, I just want to see him.
He’s suggested just an open relationship to me in the past and I told him no, it’s a bad idea. But with all these thoughts, I’m thinking maybe it isn’t a bad idea after all.
I’m going to tell him today but my problem is, is it a good idea?
I want more then friendship but I don’t want it to jeopardise it.

Romantic, friendships and with coworkers. To only attract people you’re not physically attracted to after using the dating apps. Been on the dating apps for years with no luck, what I want doesn’t want me and what shows interest is not what I’m looking for. And if you have no friends& tend to encounter drama most places you go (work, school etc). There’s always one or two people who don’t like you. Is this normal or am I cursed?

My cousin has dated her boyfriend for nearly 2 years now. However, once in a while the past still hurts her.
When they were 15-16 year-olds, the guy used to be a jerk. He was one of the main social bullies (put bad nicknames on her) and used spread jokes about her facial acne and glasses. While laughing, he once someone would have to be blind or drunk to ever date her. He gave her a hard time and she used to come home stressed out. She hated school.

He came to eating his own words and things happened. I heard karma got him during the summer and he softened up. He worked hard and did so much to be a better person. What impressed her the most was that his apologies and promises were then followed by actions such as when he got involved in anti-bullying campaigns and participated (still does) in a couple animal shelters. He gained her friendship first. It wasn't until late Now 2019 (they were college juniors by then), that they officially started dating.

He's been treating her great since and has changed. He knows she's hurt at times and still apologizes, claiming he'll do anything to make that hurt go away. Needless to say, he informed his friends and I that he was to surprise her on Valentine's Day but not to tell her. He's hoping the answer is a yes. We know what it is. He really loves her. If someone worked hard to amend their awful behaviors and hasn't relapsed since, should they be forgiven?
