my ex and i broke up 2 weeks ago. so the story is: he cheated once before. after he did it, i wanted to break up but he begged me to stay and said that he will change. he even came up with a plan to change. however, he did it a 2nd time. after the 2nd time, he said that he will change again. and what he said sounds exactly like what he said after the 1st time. so i told him to come up with a plan to make me trust him again. (honestly i ranted a lot at him and scolded him a lot. i probably made it seem like i won't trust him again). then he said we should break up. he said he doesn't want to see me being hurt anymore and that he doesn't deserve me. but it sounds so bullshit to me? if he really loves me he will want to stay with me and change for me but he's saying he wants to break up for my sake? i feel like there's another reason but he's just trying to polish up this breakup. what could be the real reason? note: even tho he cheated, my boyfriend did a lot of things for me before the breakup. things that most boyfriends won't do. so im sure he loved me.
