I think of a relationship as a diet

If you think of physical attraction as the meat in the diet
Meat is good

But if you eat only meat and not fruit and vegetables - you will die from illness

you also need fruit - which to me symbolizes kindness

And you need vegetables - which to me represents humility

And you need grain - which to me represents manual labour and physical work

A relationship requires power and strength to attract but it also requires love and respect and work and no amount of sex appeal or intelligence or love will change that

This is why you could show me the hottest guy on earth and I won't date him unless I see evidence he's got other good qualities too

I think mature people understand this but many teenagers don't understand this cause they don't have the experience of thinking for themselves without parental or societal guidance

Personally, I think women are. They are more likely to be passive agressive for some reason! They like to compete with EVERYTHING! Who gets the best looking man, who gets the prettiest baby, clothes, who gets to be the PRETTIEST!

They also compete to see who has the most friends or better car, etc! Women's competitions are more "action-oriented" and emotional and covert, vs. guys who are usually more extroverted and for some reason, it's a more matured competition I feel! And there's no illl will or animositiy usually after that!
