I notice when I'm talking to girls on Tinder, POF, and OkCupid the most attractive girls tend to be really dumb, boring, and practically bring nothing to the table. Whereas the ugly girls tend to be really smart, interesting, and fun to talk to. Does anyone else notice this pattern?

Unfortunately, I refuse to have any romantic relationship with an ugly girl so I'm pretty much in a jam. She has to at least a 7. I sincerely apologize, but I refuse to want to wake up next to The Thing or some cow. My acquaintances have told me I'm a 7 or 8, so I don't want to go lower than myself.

Let me be clear I have no problem having female friends. The issue I’m talking about using romantic attraction to take advantage of someone.

I am guilty of not speaking up when I was younger (one girl in HS and another college chased me around for years). But from late 20s onward I have been tactfully honest. I do that out of respect.

But I still find that in my 30s that other women in THERE 30s still think the friend zone is “okay”’. This is depressing because you thing they would learn a thing or two about men at that point.

But will society ever improve on this?
