Now my mom says she knows what's best for me. She cooks for me all the time, stirs my food, makes my food plate for me, chooses my clothes and shoes and always styles my hair how she wants it to be. my parents clean up my bathroom all the time and I am always at home on my computer. All I have to do is keep my room clean and I have no other responsibilities. During this time my school gave the whole us a extra hour at school and gave us opportunities to take several online classes so I did. Now I feel like I made a mistake due to how my mom responded.


My mom really wanted me to stay in school for the full 8 hours and get unnecessary credits. I have 19.50 credits right now and need 22.50 to graduate. And I only need to take 4 classes next year but my mom doesn't like this. She wants me in school longer and says I'm growing up too fast and how I need to slow down, and basically enjoy being in high school and living at home. I wanted to graduate high school early and get my high school diploma early but I don't know if my mom will even let me do so and is basically trying to keep me in high school longer than I need to be. I took 10 classes ( some were online classes) and managed to get mostly A's and B's in them but she's still upset about how small my schedule will be. And I'm pretty sure the schedule will be adjusted for extra classes. I know my mom means well, but I wanted to graduate early and I never knew what it's like to actually make a decision for myself since my parents always controlled everything. Meanwhile my best friend can go out with whenever she wants, cooks and has a drivers license.

I had gotten highlights about a year ago, because my hair is naturally brown.

A couple months ago I used a semi-permanent hair dye in all of my hair (it was purple but turned blue because my hair is brown)... and of course the colour just showed up in my highlights.

Now that the semi-permanent dye is slowly washing out of my highlighted parts of my hair, they aren't as blonde as when I first got them. My hair is almost back to the brown it used to be.

I want to have a change for when I go back to school, and I decided maybe a bit of a lighter style would switch up my look and would blend well with the faded highlights. Opinions?
