Search Results: worry too much

After a year and a bit of getting my heart broken by the first guy I fell in love with, I came across another guy who changed my life, and I can 100% say I love him. I can be myself with him, he makes me so happy, and he doesn't judge me for the things other people would judge me for. He accepts me. He was sure of his feelings and he knew he liked me, then some way along the line, he became extremely busy at work and wasn't sure how he felt anymore. Now, I'm not sure how he feels. He acts like he likes me, but sometimes I overthink and think he doesn't... but I haven't asked if he's made up his mind yet.

Some days we don't talk much at all which causes me to overthink, and because I've lost two friendships that have been really important to me in the last 6 months, and right now I feel like I'm about to lose the one person who was there more me when I needed someone the most. To add to that, I feel like I might lose him too, or maybe I'm overthinking that as well. I told him I didn't wanna lose him, and he said I haven't, but I still worry. I just wish I could tell him about everything that happened with my last guy so he can understand why I overthink and overreact, but I don't know if it's a good idea. Should I? Things are also a bit hard for us because we're doing long distance (more than just friends, but we aren't dating).

Is there something you're embarrassed to tell your partner about, something you can't answer (honestly) if your partner asked? Or can you simply tell them anything without hesitation.

Like do you still worry if your partner is gonna think that you're overreacting to something, worry you’re gonna show too much excitement in something your partner might find petty, and other stuff like that?

Asking cos I've always had a hard time opening up to my boyfriend (on some things), he notices and it makes him feel bad that im not that comfortable with him. Which I understand. Also why i wanna learn how to open up more easily. On my part i have a very hard time telling him my problems, when im upset about something, especially when im upset about something he did. Trying to change that though cos i know it ain't right.
