We broke up in April. There was never really down time of us not talking. He was the first to initiate contact after. We wound up having sex and still are all this time after. At times ( not recently) but a few months ago he has said a few times we should not continue with that because it was unfair to both of us, but that never lasted. We always wound up back together. Everytime I see him I stay the night and we cuddle and kiss etc. He is very loving, concerned if I am ok and what not.
He says comments through texting and in person about other people. For instance he makes comments if i was out somewhere like last night he told me i should have invited him, which i was going to but he doesn't answer half the time. He said i should have invited him and also that I was prob with a new boyfreind or something. Typical comments like that and if he sees a bruise or scratch one me always asking if it was from someone else. Still talk about family and sometimes the things we used to do. last night we talked about the dates we went out to. there is a lot more little things he does but thats some. We both are not with anyone else only each other, and it def still seems like something is there. Other times I can't tell with some of the things he says because he jokes around about things that he knows I dont like and Ill hit him. I want to try again with him, but I don't know if there is any shot. I know when we broke up he was stressed about no work and that was the issue for a breakup- He was the one. We were very much happy and got along great. It was a shock to everyone. Currently I think he just lost this job so I don't know if that plays into it about wanting to try something. I feel like if someone was truly done trying they wouldn't be around or talk about family and other things. It just feels like we have another shot together I just dont know how to bring it up, how to approach the topic or what.

So this past weekend I took a guy to a party. I vaguely knew him, as we went to highschool together, but he is two years older than me - I am now a freshman in college and he is a junior. We "met" over a matching app and ended up talking for a few hours, and he gave me his number. He was very forward and flirty, jokin that he would come over right now and that I should go to his house and hang out. In my mind I figured he thought this was no more than a hookup, and while I am not the hook-up type of person at ALL, I decided to give him a shot and I invited him to this party I had that upcoming weekend. He said yes and it was a Christmas themed party, so we talked briefly throughout the next 2 days deciding what to wear and what to do before hand. He picked me up for the party and was sort of standoffish at first - I got the impression he was trying to put on a "cool", fratboy-ish vibe, but we talked and I tried to be myself and get him talking. We went to the party with some of his friends too, and neither of us knew many people there. He stuck with me the whole time and hoenstly kept conversation going for about an hour, the whole time we were there he got me drinks and was flirty but seemed genuinely interested. We went downtown (bar area at our school) a little while later and hung out for probably another 2 hours - between that, we went to his house and played guitar here lol but it was fun. The whole night he was flirty but very respectful and seemed, to me, genuinely into me. At the end of the night he kissed me, and since we were not able to drive, I stayed the night at his house, but we only made out and slept in the same bed and cuddled the whole night. I was not "loose" or slutty in any way. He doesn't text much after this night, but he is also not very attatched to his phone. We do snapchat but its basically just random pictures of our faces. Basically, is he into me at all, or did he think of it as just a hookup? Should I text him?
