Hi all,

I volunteer once a fortnight at my local church with the bookstore. The main volunteer there is sort of a little bossy and throws a bit of a huff when she doesn't get her way.

My annual is coming up and I texted her saying that I will not be at the bookstore. This is how the conversation went down.

me: Hey Linda, just forgot to tell you that I will be having annual from the 30th of Jan to the 23rd of feb, therefore won't be able to be at the resource centre.

Linda: No worries, enjoy your break. Thank you so much for serving, you're making a real differnce.

Then today, she asked:
Linda: Noora, are you going somewhere exciting for your annual leave? Overseas?
Me: I will be going sky diving and probably going to brisbane.
Linda: Oh you're brave.

Was that question sort of rude and should she mind her own business? My mum thinks she is sticking her nose into my business because she wants me as a back up LOL.
