
Can't wait until Christmas? Here are 25 activities and ideas for you to do while you await Christmas Day. Do them alone or with your family and friends.

1. Make your own Advent Calendar
Create your own advent calendar and fill each day with edibles like candy, nuts, sampler teas/coffees, and dried fruits. Each day open one up, and enjoy the tasty treat. You can fill it additionally with fun messages, bible verses, Christmas stories...anything you'd like. Here is an easy example of one made from a simple muffin tin, the treats set inside each tin and then covered with printable numbers, and hung up with ribbon.

4. Create a few alternative Christmas trees
Make them and display them somewhere else inside your home/apartment using all sorts of materials other than what's used for a typical tree. Be as creative with your source material as possible. You can also theme it to each person, like an all pink tutu tree, or a star wars tree, or a tree for the chef made from spoons and knifes, etc.
5. Take a road trip to a nearby town/city to check out their holiday activities/decorations/Nativity/parades
6. Create handmade Christmas cards, and send to those in hospital, veterans, active duty soldiers and/or your friends/family

7. Volunteer at a local soup kitchen

8. Make an entire snowman village
If you don't have snow in your area, blend up some ice in a blender, and make mini snowmen
9. Do Christmas Karaoke with friends/family

10. Take a Christmas selfie or take a family/friends X-mas portrait
11. Make your own Christmas ornaments
12. On December 23, Celebrate Festivus (for the rest of us)
