The powers that be which control the Super Bowl have made that name- SuperBowl- a trademarked term since 1969. If you want to use it in a direct, business capacity, you would have to kick in some serious 8-digit money for licensing the rights to use the term.
Short of that, hundreds of brands and thousands of stores use various phrases- The Big Game, Score a T-Bone Touchdown, Big Game Day, etc. etc.- and yet just about anyone who has been awake for at least an hour knows that they are referring to The Super Bowl. Are we doomed to these "code words" forever? Satire and other "fair use" mentions are still allowed, of course, but thinking that things would be better in the long run for everyone concerned - - - - - -

Do you think it's time for the NFL to loosen up a bit with the use of the phrase Super Bowl?

In the first 4 years of my life, I was a happy kid. My parents always paid attention to me and we would spend almost all our time together. I never felt lonely despite being an only child.

My sister was born on the day before Christmas Eve 2005. Due to this, we didn't get to celebrate Christmas that year. I remember that I got lots of Christmas presents in 2004. But what about 2005? Well, I got nothing.

Ever since my sister was born, I've never really had my parents' attention. I honestly felt like an outcast in my family because my parents barely acknowledged my existence.

One time when I was 8, I asked my mother to play Monopoly with me. We started playing but my sister comes into my room a few minutes later and asks our mom to play dolls with her. Mom told me that we'll finish that round later and went to my sister's room to play dolls with her.

Second was when I was 11 and playing Super Smash Bros with my mom. My sister also wanted to play. She wasn't really good at the game, but that wasn't the biggest issue. The problem was she would start crying every time she lost so we had to let her win every time. Playing with her wasn't fun at all so I didn't want to play with her. But our mother wanted to so I was alone again.

I've hardly ever got any alone time with my mom because my sister would always come in. If I ever got to spend time with my mom, it was after my sister went to bed. At that point, I'd be too tired to do anything.

Every time it was my sister's birthday, our parents would give her $400. But I was lucky if I even got $100 for my birthday. When it was Christmas, she would always get more presents and I really think it's unfair.

My sister is the reason I was neglected. Ever since she was born, my life has been nothing but misery. Despite that, my sister is actually really nice to me and will often want to spend time with me (like watching a movie or playing video games together), but I still feel like she ruined my childhood.

Am I a bad person?

And yes sometimes Ex's will hang out together at a ball game for their kids and talk about parenting stuff. That is obviously no big deal and healthy.

So one of the girls I am dating was being a bit confusing. She said she was a sports fan but was too tired to watch a playoff football game. She wanted to do 2021 goal setting with me but forgot her diary and instead brought food to my place and cooked for me. All of it was no big deal. So I simply pointed out that she was confusing me by inviting me over and then a second later changing her mind. I knew she was tired because she had been posting online a bunch of work questions until 2am.

So I simply tell her its no big deal. I "just want you to be consistent" I told her. Because she was confusing.

So... she basically snaps and tells me to "stop being an asshole... I dont appreciate it. Stop being so critical of me."

Now... at this point I am starting to understand her ups and downs. So I just tell her that I am not going to fight with her and that I appreciated her coming to my place to cook for me. She just kept being bitchy and calling me an asshole for pointing out her contradictions.

I just told her, "I am not being an asshole. You seem very tired and need rest. I really like you. I appreciate you seeing me this weekend."

15 minutes later she texts me, "Stop being nice when I'm being mean. Goodnight."

I guess she did go to sleep because she didn't reply for a couple hours later. She was in a better mood. Back to her perky self. But I keep wondering if this was some type of shit test. Do women act bitchy on purpose to try to push my buttons and see how I would react.

I'm quite into big game hunting now tired of bird hunting and shotguns, currently I reside in Sweden so I'm looking forward to kill a wild boar with my mom this Saturday so I'm super excited. I have no experience with small game or with rifles in general I'd be using a Vo vapen. This is a stock photo of an Argentine red stag which I want to hunt once in my lifetime.

This is a major trend. Disney is going crazy with it. And for the most part... not bad. We have seen some big wins like Attila battle angel. And some tragic misses like ghost in the shell. I have great trepidation for the up coming akira. There have been so many. And we have the special effects to make it work. Or not work. I mean Justice League looked like a video game.
