Met my crush in college a year and a half ago, smiles at me, says "hi", I showed her music I listen to, and we used to talk about college stuff she used reply instantly (at the beginning) and I got her phone number but long story short, after a year of trying to get her attention I gave her so many OBVIOUS signs that I'm interested in her, but I hated the short responses I get from her and the fact that she talks and spends time with other guys and barely initiates a conversations with me. That made me upset and sometimes feel clingy. I didn't get a chance to tell her that I liked her or hang out with her. She sends short texts and she started only a few conversations but never again. The last conversation I've had with her was just too brief from her side and I felt like she just wanted me to not text her, so I decided I should give up. Her actions made me think she isn't interested and based on my last conversations I've had with her, she doesn't seem interested AT ALL she dropped the conversation a few times and replied later. I caught her staring at me multiple times and it was a blank face. At the beginning we caught eyes, she smiles, but she the last few times only looks away quickly once I catch her. Anyway, I decided I should give up because her responses made me feel very clingy so I said THAT'S IT is this how it's gonna be? so I became upset and decided to drop it and not message her AGAIN. It's been a while since I saw her, and almost 7 months since I last messaged her. I followed her on Instagram but she didn't approve my request. Should I send her a message? I've tried so hard with her but it's been a long time and I really don't know what to do. I haven't asked how she's doing and she never did too. I thought if she liked me, she'd contact me by then. Should I contact her again after all these attempts?
