So hot water is usually seen as the good/the angel/the positive, and cold water is usually seen as the bad/the devil/the negative...

But I've always found this quite weird, as I've actually always LOVED cold water ever since I was a child.

I live in Florida so I may sort of be biased, but it's hot as hell almost all the time except for winter around here, and I can't imagine taking a dip in the pool to be nearly as refreshing if the water is as hot as the outside, or the beach water to be as relaxing if it's just as hot as the air, or taking a shower to be as comfortable if it's only going to make me more hot.

Now I don't have anything against hot water, and I actually like to change the temperature for fun in the shower in between the coldest possible, the hottest possible, and a medium temperature, just so I can compare them and see the difference.

Also, this last one may sound weird, but sometimes when it's cold as hell by Florida standards, I actually like to take a hot shower at first, and THEN turn it on the coldest, to see if I can adapt and take the cold like a man... not gonna lie, at first it feels like a bunch of needles against my skin, but after like a minute or so it's actually not that bad, and I feel pretty good about having overcome the pain... I don't know, I just like to challenge myself and push my limits, rather than just sticking to what's comfortable, lol.

But still, cold water seems to be MASSIVELY underrated, and I never understood why.

Maybe I just have a high tolerance for that type of stuff, and maybe like a little bit of pain from cold temperature... but still, I never understood it, lol.
