I've been together with my boyfriend for 2 years. I knew he was best friends with his ex. They dated around 2 months when they first met. Since that happened like 10 years ago, I didn't really pay attention to it. Up until over the course of 2 years, she was showing a lot of fishy signs and red flags here and there. I don't want to go too detailed but, it's obvious that she still has feelings for him.

I trust my boyfriend and it's not about him. It's clear for me to see that he doesn't have feelings for her. He doesn't find her attractive anymore & doesn't care about her feelings. Couple of his exes told him the same thing. She still has feelings for him. He just doesn't care if she has feelings for him because she's getting nothing out of it. He thought it was okay to keep her around just because of that. Since, they've known each other for 10 years, it is a long friendship.

I had a talk with my boyfriend about this situation. Problem, she asks him out "alone" a lot. He would go if he's bored. That makes me really uncomfortable since he's hanging out with this girl that has feelings for him. And they had history! She doesn't like me because of that. If that was me, he said he would be questioning a lot & won't be very happy about it. He would want me to cut him out. We concluded to cut her out. If they keep in contact, she would just cause issues. In other words, she has feelings for him, wants to hang out with my man alone, & diss me.

He doesn't care about her & completely fine cutting her out. He actually think he should because now that he think about it, she was a problem with all his past relationships. He said he was being oblivious but mainly, he doesn't care about her feelings/what she felt about him.

I do feel guilty because he is doing this for us. It's not in my nature to do something like that. He's known her for 10 years & that's a long time. But, I am very happy he made that decision. But I feel bad :(

I've been dating my boyfriend (online relationship) for a full year - there's an age gap of 6 years (I'm older) and our races are different. I was supposed to meet him last summer, but he broke up with me once over the fact that he wasn't sure if he wanted to be with me. I'm his first girlfriend and he didn't know what to expect. He didn't like that I wasn't blonde and feared our future because of our differences. He hurt me a lot with his lack of faith in our relationship and promised me he wouldn't do it again. We ended up somehow making it through that and decided to meet again this summer.

He asked his parents 2 days ago if he could meet me and his dad had 3 issues:
1) age (he believes that it never works when the woman is older)
2) race/culture (obviously there are gaps, but I love him and if he loves me, we can make it through.. we Skype every day with dinner.. so we know how we eat anyway.. things like food shouldn't be an issue)
3) religion (we are the same religion, so this one wasn't an issue)

He took all his dad's words and examples into consideration and is now doubting our relationship again.. after a full year. We were so close to meeting and now he wants to meet on terms of "not a guaranteed reationship" and is not sure how he feels about me. What do I do? I've done so much for him this past year.. I've gone out of my way to make him happy and he turns around and hurts me so easily.

ps: Just two weeks ago.. he hung up on me in the middle of a call when we were having a disagreement and deleted me from Skype just to see how it would be like to be without me. He added me back after a day.. saying he missed me. This is all just crap.. Please help me clear my mind. He said he will not make up his mind until he meets me.. what should I do?
