My very brief comparison between two similar movies: Deep Impact versus Armageddon

Deep Impact premiered on May 8th of 1998. Armageddon soon followed on July 1st of the same year. Deep Impact grossed approximately $350 million while Armageddon eclipsed it by $200 million. Although Armageddon's numbered were much bigger, it doesn't mean it's actually a better movie.

I recently watched both films again online while travelling parts of the USA riding in a motorhome. This gave me a chance to compare both movies and think about them a bit more. I watched Armageddon first and genuinely thought it's corny in general. I caught myself in teary-eyed moments while watching Deep Impact hours later. The story, acting and effects of Deep Impact were much more realistic than it's rival.

Each year there is a party on October 20th, its the birthday of the person who usually throws the party, its a big costume party with around 30-60 different people showing up with themes for each year. There is also a small costume contest for the females and one for the males the winner receives a prize of like 200$'s in gift cards to any store or stores they choose and a small Trophy, Second place gets a 25$ gift card to Starbucks.

Rules for entering the contest.

You must be wearing a Custom Costume you cannot buy a premade one, You made use a premade one as a base but you must change it to be unrecognizable.

You must be wearing a theme appropriate costume

You must be an existing Character in his/her.

You must go as the characters original sex.

You must use ANIME characters, If the character you go as does not make an appearance in the anime you may not enter.



Now Last was Comic's and i went as Spider Gwen i came in 10th place out of the like 15 girls who participated..

The year before that was Dead, I went as a cute zombie girl and i came in 8th.

This years key word is Anime and i am happy and psyched as hell, So much so i don't know who to go as. So i want y'all to help me pick out of these few characters ^-^
