I was so caught off guard when he said that. It was not with a smirk or anything he seemed to think he was giving sage advice. The fact it is patronizing to me is the least of my concern -though it is no small concern.

Now I don’t know if he is just a closeted racist , sexist , bigot or ALL. None are ok. I can not think of any scenario where what he said Would be warranted.

I simply told him About my friend. He is helping me practice French bc I aim to visit distant relatives in France in the Spring. He is awesome I really enjoy his company and he is polite and kind and clever. Nothing in there says “Oof.. be careful you know how these people are”.

Also he is gay so if anyone thinks it’s jealousy.. He knows he is gay.

My boyfriend has always been very considerate and kind. The worst I can say about him is his life has been un encumbered by any kind of major difficulty.

His parents are not Rich but his Great Aunt is a wealthy Philanthropist and she has always doted on him. She does not hide he is her favorite great nephew- They are close. She has always been very supportive of him.

But mostly this upbringing seems to make him relaxed and boyishly sweet -if sometimes ever so slightly spoiled or entitled. I don’t think this in itself should result in any kind of bigotry- unless you are already an asshole.😒

I am part Chinese part Russian he has never shown any issue with that. I’m Jewish on my fathers side. He on his Mothers. His parents are from Germany. He grew up in the states. I am rather close to his great Aunt.

Shocked. This is absolutely one thing I never thought would be an issue..

This new girl and her sister are twins and they are at my work they l literally do nothing. They are like 17-18 years old. They work like 2-3 days a week and it’s a nightmare when they work. They’ve been here for about a month and literally all they do is pass out trays, ice and snacks and sit on their phones for hours on end and supervisors don’t care. They are the 4pm-12am shift. The ones on the 7am-3pm are more helpful then they are. The point of their job is to help CNA’s and instead they spread rumors around about different CNA’s. There is also a restricted floor that they take ouija boards, emf meters and spirit boxes down too and (NOBODY) is allowed on that floor. They go around talking about it and try to convince people to go down there with them. They also use it in patients rooms and around the building. The one girl is so dumb she sent me pictures and videos of her using the stuff down on the floor to try and get ghosts. Nobody has time for that shit, CNAS and nurses are extremely busy. Many employees people are complaining to supervisors and they aren’t doing anything about it. Maybe its because their mom who is a nurse works there and is favorited by supervisors (but she’s quitting). They also came in two hours late and stayed for like an hour and left because they were “sick”. I’m getting sick of them and their stupid ghost shit. They ask me every single day too. I always make up some excuse and don’t go along with it. They tried to get another CNA fired too just recently. They are not well liked at least not among CNA’s. They have also made residents freak out (ghosts in their room 🙄) and tell residents lies about what other CNA’s did to them. They act all nice and sweet to your face but my god all they do is run their mouths and they are weird too. I Don’t know if they are keeping track of employees writing statements about them or just throwing them away.
