I will attempt to condense this story as well as I can without omitting any salient details. Bear with me lol. Back in high school I worked at a restaurant as a dishwasher. At the time, I had been in a serious relationship with someone for over a year, so infidelity was not something I intended on committing because of my own personal morality. Naturally my coworkers and I became friends as we were the people with whom we spent every one of our weekends with, and as anyone with any work experience knows "cliques" are formed. Two other dishwashers, the bartender, and I formed a clique which ultimately dissolved after we all quit at various points in time. We kept in contact to some degree after we all moved on to other things, but eventually that all ended as do most relationships of that nature, even though we spent virtually every day and most of our lives together at work and even got together off hours. Life went on... kind of. After working with her for a few months and getting to know her more, I found myself quite enamored with the bartender. She was six years older than me, and although I'd found beautiful the first time I met her (I knew her somewhat before I worked there) I found myself thinking about her instead of my girlfriend. I walked the line between guilt and uncertainty as I pondered the possibilities. I would feel guilty if I left my girlfriend for another girl, and I was quite certain my feelings were unrequited. But she (the bartender) would text me a lot and the one time we ever drank together she was touchy feely with me. Is it possible those were signs of interest? Or was I looking too far into it because of my own feelings for her? I only find myself thinking about that time of my life occasionally, but I feel dissatisfied with the whole situation. Would it be a better idea just to leave it alone and let it remain a mystery? Or should I tell her about my true feelings? Would she think it was creepy if she had absolutely no feelings for me?

My co-workers wife got drunk and had a one night stand. My co-worker became violent I remember cops coming to our work and talking with him/restraining order against him. He wanted to kill the guy who he's wife slept with. Now that I'm getting older and will eventually marry (hopefully still looking for her 😍) I'm getting a gut check kind of moment.

i remember sitting at a bar drinking after work and he looked meek and haggard talking about how he felt shame, anger and dispair all I could think "what a tool" since he forgave her and stuck with her.

so now I wonder is infidelity something that in vowes count as for better and worse and should be worked through or is it a a complete deal breaker. He's love for her shows they now have a kid together and seem very happy although I know he feels like he's pride has been shredded.

Infedility and affairs something that should worked through with counseling and more quality time or is it a complete end to the marriage?

One of my friend found out his wife was having an affair which although I'm single it scares me for the future. So I googled bout affairs (mostly as men being the victim being bias towards myself I'm sure it goes both ways if not guys cheat more statiscticly).

i wonder are modern relationship/marriage doomed to infidelity or is it that people like to talk/post stories about negative relationships instead of how great and loyal their marriage is?
