At my work, Walmart, there's this girl I have noticed that is interested in me. Her mom shops there occasionally and told me the a couple weeks ago that her daughter liked me. Me thinking that her mom is just trying to help her daughter find a boyfriend didn't read into it too much but this is how i noticed her behavior towards me as i am like a rock and dense when it come to people flirting with me (unless it's super blatant).

I transfered to this store to be a department manager and she is an associate. Far as i know it not against policy to date employees so long as you are not their supervisor and I work in the fresh food area and she is a gm associate. She is a well known associate and I am a keep to himself and work type. I'm unsure if I should act on her feelings as there's a few barriers I have and seek input.

The biggest barrier: it does go against my personal beliefs to date co-workers. Even though we work on different sides of the store if things where to work out bad I don't want it to cause trouble among my other co-workers as I mentioned above she is well known and talks to the other associates more than I do.

I have talked with her on fb messenger a little bit and from the conversations we've had I do feel we would get along but tbh I have never really been in a relationship and am naturally socially awkward when talking to people.

Ultimately I feel that because of my lack of experience and possible troubled relations with coworkers that i should not pursue this and tell her this. At the same time I'm in my 30's and am aware that my "dating pool" is getting smaller and smaller the older i get. I'm tired of being single and not having very good luck with finding someone. Am i looking too much into this or are my thoughts in the right direction?

I have noticed a trend the girls that are attracted to me. They look somewhat similar or they have similar personalities (fair skin, blue/green eyes, brunette, cute and independent, etc.). What do you think? It could just be my default preference. Is it because we are genetically predisposed to attract certain types of people? Are we taught this based on our interaction with certain people? Is it by choice or a preference of ours? Or, here's a kicker for you - do we actually have power in choosing who to attract by creating those moments and attractive qualities for that person?

Im kinda cocky around cute girls at school. A few times I've seen em slap guys in a flirty way, and lmfao cuz the guys had a😣😣😣look cuz her smack hit him. I don't know any type of karate, but I'm athletic. I bragged to some girls that couldn't happen to me cuz I'd block or duck under the smack cuz my reflexes are too fast. I laughed at the guys I saw it happen too. Well this 5'6 CUTE blonde girl who's 17... twice in the last week I've gotten EASILY slapped by her in a flirty way! She comes up to me, tilts her head and goes🙄🙄🙄at me... and I'm TOTALLY frozen cuz her face is CUTE! IM😲😲😲. Well then she just hangs her right hand to the outside and I can't MOVE! Her slap hits and when my face turns I'm like unnnh😣😣😣!. I HATE it, cuz I'm no different than the other guys, uggh! Word is going around about her easily getting me twice, what should I do? Ugh!
