So my friend got irritated with me because I kept asking her if she had a problem with me because she was being rude. She blew up on me and said yes because I keep asking her. So I left her alone and then I came back normal. I said sorry I won’t ask again. Just personal issues. She just replied with an ok emoji. (Which I thought was odd)

so I sent a text saying what’s going on? And then I sent a funny pic. She ignored the first part and sent a dry answer. Again I’m being normal and sending what we usually do. She’s just being dry.

So it furthered my anxiety and I just finally told her why I kept asking if she had a problem with me. I felt I was being used and she tolerated me blah blah. I also told her I suffer from anxiety and if that’s too much then I will just walk away and I’m sorry.

She didn't reply for a day so I gave up. She sent a message saying my lack of confidence is turning everything about uneasiness about her and she hopes I find help.

I was shocked bevause cause she was quick to kick me to the curb. She called me 10 minutes later. But I couldn’t answer because I was at work. So I texted her saying okay I won’t disagree. I do have low confidence but I work on it. I don’t want to lose her as a friend but I’m still someone that needs to learn about others.

She didn't reply. So when I got on break I called her back. She didn’t answer. So I’m like you know what I’m not going to beg for her friendship. I sent a final message saying that I guess I was right that she was just using me and I was hoping to talk it out at least and said goodbye. Actually it was a bit longer but I won’t put the whole thing.

What should i have done?

Im 26 and work in the service industry. I dont consider myself super attractive and lack confidence. Ill have my “cute” days and that is about it. However, I am told by friends, coworkers, and family that I rank higher on the hot scale then I feel... so why is it that only either unattractive or much older (and usually crude) men approach and hit on me? I can honestly say only one guy that was pretty attractive made any moves... he was also 8 shots deep and would probably fuck tree if it blew in his direction. But it raises the question! Am I just really unappealing? Do I scare people away? Do I have angry eyebrows/resting bitch face? Im very easy to talk to... Im just not a conversation instigator. I have high anxiety but I can usually hide it. I fail to make eye contact and will do things like play with my hair/phone/jewelry when Im nervous. Would it be my body language? And if so... why do such scummy men feel confident enough to cross the line? Do I come off as desperate or vunerable? Or am I just so accustomed to the bluntness that I fail to notice? Its not for an ego boost or reassurance. I am genuinely curious on the thought process.
