I wear them when I volunteer at the humane society when it's hot or when I'm outside in hot weather for lengthy amounts of time. I don't wear them to the movies, bowling alley, college classes nor anything else indoor, nor do I wear them when it's cool outside - not even to the gym.

I don't judge people who wear them more often that I do, but I only wear them to cool off when it's hot: I absolutely abhor hot weather. But when girls say that guys should never wear them because they look like "wife hitters", does that mean lesbians can't wear them either? What about if they're *gay* guys? Neither do I understand how a tank top is any more associable to men hitting women than it can be to women hitting men: domestic abuse goes every way, even men hitting men, so I also think it's insulting to male physical abuse victims (including those of child abuse) to tell them they have the appearance of doing those things themselves simply because of a shirt.
