Alright y'all I'm from Millington, TN, if that makes any difference. I turn 16 in December. My boyfriend just turned 19 on August 14th. We met last year when I was a freshmen and he was a senior. My parents didn't care that I dated him then and I was 14 and he was 18. They didn't care if he hung out or even slept over at the house. His parents and my parents were good friends. I went to prom in the spring with him. We also went to homecoming. I lost my virginity to him. We hung out a lot this summer but this past month my parents haven't really let me go to his house or him come over here that often. I'm also not allowed to go many places with him anymore. He left for college last Wednesday and I start school tomorrow. His college is near Nashville so it's a long drive. He's been snap chatting me and texting me and calling me. I think he misses me. I don't get how this is wrong? He was a legal adult last year too and we were allowed to date.

We've been together several years, and despite our ups and downs, it's a strong relationship supported by all of our friends and family on both sides.

Although neither of us ever wanted to get married again, both being divorced, he's stated that he would gladly run off to the courthouse with me, and he was serious.

I'm on the verge of being homeless, because my parents can no longer afford rent in our family home living on social security, even with my help; they're going into a retirement home, and I could never afford to keep this place. He lives with his mom, and only her immediate family can stay with her. We've been ready and wanting to move in together for a long while.

He is the primary bread winner, easily able to afford almost all of the bills on his own, but he has 0 credit. He legitimately didn't know that good credit fades with no new activity.

I have the supplemental income and cannot Afford even rent alone by myself, but I have credit. It's not good, but its enough to qualify for a loan or an apartment lease, except that I don't meet the income requirements.

We cannot combine our scores unless we're married. We have no one to co-sign, we cannot afford to save while paying rent in our current situation. He tried living here, but never getting any privacy always having someone else around in the common areas caused him lots of stress and that was hurting our relationship. Roommates are not an option for us, as a couple, and there isn't anyone that we trust like that. All of our friends live in other states, or use recreational drugs, which I don't judge, but don't want in the place I live, or they have kids, we don't want kids.

Getting married would give us that combine score that we need, and I really do not want or care about a big fancy fashion show made to impress and make jealous friends and family, but I also don't want our vows to rushed for such reasons as rent, but I'll do it.
