My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 months and recently moved in together. We have a pretty good relationship, in love and happy together.

He is German, has been in Australia for almost 10 years.

He is a member on Facebook of a German Community group in the city we live. He doesn't have a lot of close friends and so I totally understand him being in that group and support that.

While scrolling through my own newsfeed I saw he had made some comments to a post in that group. A female member was trying to organise some sort of social meet-up for whoever was interested, maybe for lunch or coffee obviously with the intention of making some German friends in the city. My boyfriend expressed interest and said he would love to meet everyone.

Normally I wouldn't care so much but it seemed that the people who were all in for this meet-up were mainly females all but one other male. I checked out the profiles of these girls out of curiosity as most of them were fairly attractive girls. Some had partners as I could see their relationship status and others not.

The other guy has a partner but he at least said he would only go if another male went so obviously he was being wise considering it was mainly a group of girls.

My partner hasn't mentioned any upcoming get togethers with me and just wondered if he should maybe indicate something of his possible intentions or interest in going. Like if that was me I'd be like "Babe, don't know if I've ever mentioned but I'm in this German community group on FB and some of the members on there were talking about organising a meet-up, I'm interested in going as a way of making some friends that I can relate to, would you be interested in coming with me or if not I hope you don't mind if I at least go"

He just hasn't said anything and I'm wondering why he wouldn't include me in this or at the very least make a casual mention of it. Should I be worried?

I have a bit of a complicated situation where the guy I’m seeing is a fairly recent Tinder match. Things escalated quickly because we hit it off, then unfortunately I had to leave the country for a family emergency but we talked almost everyday and maintained our connection over the month. However, he’s recently had a very close family member be diagnosed terminally with only a few weeks to live.

He’s been honest and open about how much this has thrown him off and how he’s only had to deal with his dog’s death to date. We saw each other for the first time again last week and nothing changed in person aside from him being more affectionate but as far as our day to day texting and whatnot goes, there’s quite a difference.

I want to be there for him but I also don’t want to impose, make him feel like I’m disrespecting the space he needs right now, or that I’m pushing a serious relationship on him.

What would you want in this situation? What helped you in past relationships when you’ve gone through grief? And have you ever completely lost interest in someone or ended a relationship because dealing with the grief was too overwhelming?

I know that it sounds silly but after high school I literally don't see a life for myself. Except watching YouTube videos, going back to high school and being the duff in my group of friends. ( im typically the ugly fat friend that no one notices) but despite my lack of body and good looks I try to be a nice, open minded and I pass on good vibes but I'm never invited to parties, I always walk home alone, I never had a boyfriend, no one asks me out, invites me anywhere and I'm always ignored or pushed to the side unless I say something. I can tell no one is interested in me and I never get phone numbers. When I do, the kids act uninterested in me or stop talks to me without word. I feel like I will be forever alone and I have to get used to basically being a outcast. By the way I live in a ghetto area and my personality has been said to be different, special or strange. There has been two drive by shootings in my neighborhood last week. Including gang members shooting in front of my little sisters school.

is there a reason on why I am a fucking outcast at school and the only people I consider friends are decades older than me?
