A few months ago a girl I really liked went out with me. She insisted she really liked me, and everything. But she asked for more time to get over her ex before we went on any more dates.
We've had few conversations since. But she keeps saying she's not ready yet and it's been almost 4 months. But she's said she needs closure. I've offered to try to get an answer for her, I have told her when she's ready I'll be there for her. She's talked to me a lot about my ex to try to find a way to be over it.
I've offered to do so much and I've tried really hard, but she doesn't say much now and it doesn't feel like she actually liked me like she said she did. I know how she feels about the ex, but it seems she doesn't care about any effort I've put forth. Does she just got care?

I started talking with this really nice girl back in October, and we seemingly clicked pretty well. We both recently got out of long term relationships where our ex really hurt us, but it seemed like a good match.
She was two hours away for school, but we still talked everyday. She expressed interest in dating and spending most of her winter break together, and if all went well, I'd meet her parents at the end of the break.
But on our first real date, she said she thought she was ready to date again, and asked for more time, and she was very apologetic, but we still had a few hard conversations about the situation because I was super bummed and upset.
Anyway, we've only talked a handful of times since and she said before Valentine's day she still wasn't ready, but I still wished her a happy Valentine's day and said I hoped all was well and I understand she's not ready, and I wanted to make sure she was doing ok.
The other day, she got a bunch of snow, and I was just trying to be friendly and talk to her about it since she loves it. But she still didn't say much, and I've delayed answering because the way she's responded lately has made me just more annoyed with the situation. But she still responds, although she doesn't make the conversation engaging. I understand she's still hurt by her ex and trying to move on. She said she just never got the closure she wanted.
At this point do I just give up? I haven't even read or seen her last message back to me...

I recently met this fantastic person and she says she really likes me and we mesh very well. She says I'm the best guy she's ever met, but she wants to 100% be over her ex so she can enjoy the relationship. She said she wouldn't be seeing other people, but understands if I did.
Will she tell me when she's ready? She said she didn't know how long it would take to do this.
