I am asking this guy yesterday this really old women working as the cashier told my mom how nice I was for helping her with putting the bags in my cart and helping my mom with shopping. We've went to that same grocery store for 5 years now. I just thought most men helped their mom with shopping and took them out I didn't know that was something uncommon.

So today at my work I over heard a couple of costumers that were right infornt of the youth bra section (for the record one of the ways to get into the back room is literally in the aisle across from it) so I just got done taking a flatbed cart to the back and I see a man standing infront and I over heard them as they were heading back to the front of the store, that it was his daughter's first bra. While the mom was lecturing her about it. is it common for dads to sometimes join in on bra shopping (especially when the girl is just getting started wearing one)?

She's always wanted a girl and I was the second kid so she treated me and even dressed me like one, when I was younger. I never had a male role model growing up due to my father never being there for me so masculinity had to be self learned and sought out from peers
Now I'm 20 and visited home, and went cloth shopping with mum to spend time with her. And she picked out these shorts which were really bulgey in my man area as I tried them on. AnD i told her this doesn't look right. She said it looks good and is fine. As we were going to pay for it she asks the cashier if their females ones
Did she play along just to mock me this entire time? Really shitty feeling to be grown as a chick then judged for being that way from your own mother..
