Eric Clapton went from setting the standard for rock guitar to making ‘full-tilt’ racist rants to becoming an outspoken vaccine skeptic. Did he change? Or was he always like this?

Queen's Brian May shared some thoughts about Eric Clapton, who recently said he will not play any live shows that require attendees to show proof that they've received the COVID-19 vaccine.

In July, Clapton made it clear that he won't grace "any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show."

"I love Eric Clapton," May said in an interview with The Independent published on Saturday (Aug. 7). "He's my hero, but he has very different views from me in many ways. He's a person who thinks it’s OK to shoot animals for fun, so we have our disagreements, but I would never stop respecting the man."

"Anti-vax people, I’m sorry, I think they’re fruitcakes," May added.

Clapton previously said he feared he would "never play again" after receiving both doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Meanwhile, May -- who says he's become a bit of a "health and exercise addict" after suffering a heart attack and having three stents put in, in May 2020 -- supports the science behind the COVID-19 vaccine.

"There’s plenty of evidence to show that vaccination helps," he noted. "On the whole they’ve been very safe. There’s always going to be some side effect in any drug you take, but to go around saying vaccines are a plot to kill you, I'm sorry, that goes in the fruitcake jar for me."

I met a guy online in 2018 from different country and 3 years older than me. He and I are working for bachelor progress and we had many in commons especially in traits and interest.

At first we talked like usual and I enjoy having conversation with him. We texted almost every day but there was one thing i never wanted to consider to make him as my online boyfriend: he only likes my face bcs it made him turn on easily.

Honestly i felt like he just see me as an object rather than a women, so i had to say we're only friends.

Day by day, this guy keep gained my attention. Not mention i was lonely, never involved in relationship before. But i wanted to experience in such a way so i had an idea to engage with him although we hold many different values but we are happily open to discuss about it.

We had break like 2 times, but i noticed none of us wanted to end our relationship. So we keep in touch until now, been 1.6 years. Although our chatting style maybe sounds odd, like we reply each other within few hours until 3 days gap, but convo never ends. You got what i mean?

He likes sex and i like commitment. We obviously talked about sex more than commitment. But it's perfectly fine for me, at least now. He seems like to initiate talking about other things too not only sex. So i really happy for seeing improvement of him.

Although i am not looking for commitment but i feel like he is getting serious with me, not mention he has been graduated and got a job. He once said he is currently working to meet me but i think he wasn't sure about his words.

The problem is I have so much worries and doubt. He easily forgot what we've talked before. He sometimes inconsistent with his previous words (ik people can change) and it made me disappointed. I'm afraid he just gave me false hope or he doesn't really need me. Ik i overthink too much, bcs i don't want to lose him.

Should i continue this relationship or end that way? I highly appreciate for people who wanted to give some advices.
