So I talked to this guy a handful of times about what we want out of the dating app and told him i don't want to lead him on etc and explaining what i want and my experiences etc. I told him a few times that if you don't feel like waiting or its not what you're looking for then i understand if he doesn't want to talk anymore. I said I'll stop talking about it now since we've talked about it and glad were on the same page. He said " yes please can you stop talking about it now. I feel like you're someone that has to be reassured a lot? or maybe i'm wrong about that. you tell me" He said he doesn't mind waiting and wants to date me etc.

We have only been talking for a week and he really wanted to meet up after a couple days talking and he said it feels like we've been talking for weeks. We were suppose to meet up but the area was closed and was just annoyed that he called twice and didn't pick up.. (I was a little overwhelm and apologised multiple times and i was uncomfortable too because of the pandemic and I wasn't really sure about him to begin with. I felt kind of pressured and felt off in a way to meet him. He told me he's excited to meet me. He said he's not talking to anyone else and is interested in me etc

So I'm a part of a college Christian youth group and I'm worried that one of the guys in that group likes me. At first I just had a hunch because of eye contact and his body language, but I didn't want to be narcissistic, so I just brushed it off and convinced myself I was imagining things or overthinking him just trying to be nice. In the past week, he has made an effort to go out of his way to be nice or chivalrous to me on many occasions. Even to the point of waiting for me to drive off first so that I would lead the way. In our group chat on messenger he reacts to every single one of my messages, even when it's mainly girls just sending hearts. He doesn't do this to anyone else. And he doesn't pay as much attention to anyone else either. For a few reasons, he is not and will never be attractive to me (I don't mean this physically). He is not a person that I could ever see myself with. In our church people don't really date unless they're looking to eventually find the right one to marry and think the person they're about to date might be them. We don't just date for fun or cause it feels nice to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. So it's pretty serious when you have a guy show any interest. I'm totally freaking out because (1) he's 24, I'm 19... it's not creepy, but he's ready for marriage, I'm not. (2) I have about 4 more years of school ahead of me before I want to marry so that means I probably wouldn't be dating anyone for another two years. (3 ) I'm interested in someone else... Who, yes doesn't know or probably like me back, but I would never be able to even consider feelings for someone else while I still like him. (4) one of my close friends likes him, and if she found out she'd be devastated. (5) I don't want this to get dramatic and explode in our group. I don't want people to find out and cause more issues. (6) I don't want to hurt him, just because I don't like him that way, doesn't mean I don't have a soul or that I don't care.

tl;dr- considering keeping in contact with an ex im still in love with. broke up last December, talked once every month since then.

I broke up with my ex a few days before Christmas last year. Basically I'm still crazy about him but I had reasons to end the relationship (he was a good partner, he did everything to try and make it work- it's my seriously ugly personal issues). Since we broke up I've just been obsessing about it but I never showed. He sent a long message on new year's day greeting me and telling me he still loves me. I replied and that convo didn't last long. About last week of January, he called me and we talked for a while. After that call, he sent a lot of messages asking if we could still make it work. I love him a lot but I was so sure that getting back together isn't the right thing to do so I stuck with my decision. I blocked him on Facebook after that because it became harder for me to stop thinking about him. I'd visit his profile a lot. Just two days ago he sent messages on Instagram but he unsent them. Then last night he called and we talked for a few hours. It was a really nice talk and I felt instantly better. It included saying I could call him anytime I need someone to talk to. He said he's still waiting and hoping for something between us. He understands why I ended things with him which I didn't expect because he really didn't do anything for me to act that way.

Anywaynot a day goes by that I don't think about him and I miss him a lot so I've thought about considering calling him every now and then. Would that be unhealthy? I didn't say anything to him about getting back together. We just agreed that we can call each other anytime we want, and I do want to. I just dont know what's right or wrong about this anymore.
