Today my boyfriend and I (we've been together for 4 years and we live together) went to the dollar store to get some soda. The cashier smelled really good! His cologne was the best I've ever smelled and I was curious on what kind it was so the following was said:

Me: By the way, I like your cologne it smells good!
Him: Thanks! I had it in my car and sprayed some on but I thought it would've wore off by now Hahaha. It's Armani Black.
Me: Oh cool! I didn't mean that in a weird way by the way! Hahah
Him: don't worry I know Hahaha.

And that was it. We left and my boyfriend was very pissed off. He said I was flirting and it was inappropriate to say. I'm a little confused because I know when I flirt... my tone of voice and my body language did not show flirting. I know that for a fact. I really love the smell of perfumes and colognes. I've even complimented girls on the perfumes. I've been wearing perfume since I was little so yes, I love perfumes and colognes. I explained this to my boyfriend but he was still pissed off. I told him that I only liked the smell of the cologne, nothing else. He still said what I did was wrong. I apologized and he told me not to ever do that again. But I mean... Was I really in the wrong? I really wasn't flirting with the guy. I was being friendly and I genuinely liked the smell of his cologne and wanted to know the name of it. HELP.

so my boyfriend had a meeting for work yesterday. he rode with some of his guy friends there, but on the way back he rode with a girl from school he knew. he didn't bother to send a text saying what was up, he just walked through the door and said "so and so have me a ride, the guys didn't have room."

I would like to add that employees that attended the meeting got boxes of merchandise to take home after the meeting. I don't want to flip out for no reason, but I do feel like a heads up would have cleared some things up. this girl he works with... I have hung out with her once. we went to a club. but I just feel like the best way to mess with someone s man is to keep the girlfriend (me) in the dark while they flirt or whatever all night at work. please tell me if I'm tripping. they've sent some texts to eachother along the lines of "hey are you ok you look down today" and one where he asks her for some candy. she said i have some for you, nobody else.
