okay so let me start from the beginning, i was at my school and asked this girl out for coffee that i thought was really gorgeous. She said yes she does want coffee then after talking for a bit she said "if it means anything i have a boyfriend". i was surprised when she said this and she definitely noticed but she NEVER said anything like "we can go as friends" in fact the word friends never even came up in the conversation. But she proceeded to write down her number anyways and as she was doing so she said "you're really smooth" (I'm not trying to brag but simply give you as much details as possible) then she asked me what my name was and shook my hand. i asked her if she prefers to text or talk on the phone and she started saying how she sucks at texting because she responds late when she's at work and stuff so i assume she wants me to call her. but we couldn't stay for long because she was studying for finals and she had her final in a couple hours (ugh fucking finals...). So my question is what do you think this girl wants, like a relationship or just a hookup? why would she still want to meet up if she has a man already? Please share your insight and wisdom ladies! Tell me what you think and why.

Imagine living your entire life never having a boyfriend or girlfriend. Imagine never having a relationship in middle school, high school, college, and all of your adulthood. Could you do that and be completely happy?

I am a 21 (almost 22) year old guy and I have never had a girlfriend. Most of it is because of circumstances and some of it is because I cannot overlook a woman's past and rather be single than to give my heart to a woman who has given a chunk of hers to someone else.

Yes, yes. I have had sex before. But that same woman I had sex with also put me in jail. I am still dealing with those repercussions all because of a one night stand.

I watch everyone around me have (or have had) serious loves and relationships. Some of them have already been (and still are) happily married.

But here are some advantages of being single for life:
1. A "small" salary for many might just be perfect for the single guy. For example, I work as an Advanced EMT. My annual income here in Tennessee as an AEMT is approximately $25,000 annually. When I obtain my Paramedic, it bumps to $35,000-$40,000. While that is terrible pay for a man trying to support a girlfriend/wife and kids, this type of income may be perfect for a single man in a single dwelling. I also have the opportunity to live in the station for free without having to pay rent or utilities.

2. Insurance benefits cost less because a single man doesn't have to pay insurance for his significant other or kids.

3. You get to say you never had a girlfriend and watch the reactions on everyone's faces. Being 22 and never having a girlfriend is surprising enough. But imagine being in your 40s and 50s and never having a girlfriend. It would be so rare that others may not believe you. You can even write a book or blog about it and attract the attention of lots of interested persons.

4. Freedom to do whatever the hell you want without a SO intervening.
