I know this is a sensitive question because no one wants to call another person "stupid" but why would a single girl continue to have babies without a steady father around?

And maybe the better question is why would guys want to father one, or more, children with a girl and then not want to stay around and help take care of their own child?

I know of a girl like this that still lives with her parents and has 5 children at last count starting from when she was around 15 or 16.

Her parents wanted lots of grandchildren and didn't really care if she was married or not, they just loved having the grand kids around. And since her dad had several businesses and had lots of money, they never told her to go after the guys for child support so the boys are thinking this is all a footloose and fancy-free activity for them.

She quit high school before graduating. She is not even close to having a lot of common sense. Most people, even friends that know her, consider her the "ditz" or "airhead" type.

She just seems to be, but I doubt that she is, content living from day to day with all these kids and seeing different guys all the time. It's not that she doesn't want a steady guy, it's just that they only seem to come around for sex and then leave. I know most of you don't know the kind of girl that I am talking about, but they do exist.

Would an intelligent girl ever do something like this? Can we just be honest and say that she, and others like her, are stupid? And are the guys dumber than she is, or not?

I get along with both genders, but slightly more with men, than women. I keep a lot of people 'at arms length' because they seem 2 faced or suspicious or create drama, so im friendly with them, but keep conversations short, so that they can't get too close to me.

Its kinda like 55% male friends, 45% female.

I like how chill some guys are and i have a lot in common with some of them, e. g. same sense of humour.
But i do have some nice girls who im friends with as well.

HOWEVER, im careful with who i become close friends with / talk to on a regular basis, cos I've realised that a lot of people want to 'use' people & have ulterior motives.

Also, i'm very aware of guys who try to be "friends" with me, or are overly-friendly, just cos they want sex (gross!).

But generally, i find some girls untrustworthy, cos in the past, whenever i had female bestfriends, they always compared themselves to me, or were worried that their boyfriend fancies me, so they ended up gossiping about me, tried to ruin things for me, and acted VERY insecure around me!

I have no strong feelings about the size of the role of sex discrimination and/or sexism plays.

The solution here is not to tell women to "choose a better paying job". Men and women will argue that it is fair to be paid a higher rate when they work on a weekend. This penalty cut is unjust and is an issue independent from sex discrimination or sexism. Although the penalty cut in itself is not sex discrimination, it is unjust and does disproportionately affect women, contributing a widening to the gender pay gap.

In America, there is currently a push for the minimum wage to increase to $15 per hour. Supporters, like me, of this increase see being paid the current $7.25 per hour as unjust and it is estimated 58% of the nearly 40 million U. S. workers who would benefit from this wage hike are women.
