here are some things I would do for him while we were dating for two and a half years:

-advent calendars with little presents leading up to holidays, big gift on the day of the holiday
-care baskets with his favorite snacks, drinks and candy
-cookie cakes for his sport events/birthday
-handmade cards
-baked/cooked for him
-bought him clothes and food
-christmas/halloween/easter baskets
-gave him picture frames of us
-planned fun dates for us (movies, dinner, holiday themed dates, movie nights, etc.)
-made him a scrapbook with pictures of us
-decorated gingerbread houses, carved pumpkins, went apple picking and ice skating together (my idea always)
-cleaned his room for him

he used to always say he was so lucky to have me and he was never going to find anyone like me and he would refer to me as the "wifey".

I did all this, as well as other thoughtful things, and I ended up getting cheated on and dumped. now he doesn't even want to be a part of each others lives. he says he has no feelings and he has moved on and is into partying and being single.

why did he end up taking me for granted? will he regret this one day when he realizes how special I was and how much I loved him?

So he was a good close friend that I met at the beginning of this school year and he asked me out almost 2 weeks ago (let's call him A). This was 4 days after we had hung out with our mutual friend and then they left so it was just us and we had a great time (as friends) and he seemed interested but a little off at the same time but I had so much fun and I thought I developed feelings. I knew he liked me before that like 2 months ago (staring a lot) but I thought he had lost interest after a little.

Anyways, he asked me out and I was pretty shocked because I had no idea (I thought he had lost interest^). and I rejected him out of shock even though I think I like him. but I don't know if I like him just for the attention he gave me. I do not just feel bad for him. He's avoiding me so I wrote him a letter (wow this sounds so middle school - we're in high school) that said I liked him and stuff which I said to read alone on but he read it with his friend and then I talked to the friend he read it with (let's call him B- B is super nosey ugh). So B said that after reading it A said "she rejected me so why should I do this" or something like that. A said to the mutual friend that we both hung out with^^ that he thinks I just wrote the letter because I feel bad for him but I do not, at all.

What I want is just to go on a date and see how I feel about it. I offered to talk the other day in class but he said no kind of harshly and walked away. I want to give him space but I don't want to loose him (in both a friend and relationship kind of way) what do I do? Do I give him space or confront him/explain and we have more than half our classes together. I know he's hurt but I really don't want to loose him (that sounds selfish, I know but this whole thing is just so stupid) - I want opinions too by the way, thanks (: sorry it's so long and over-complicated
