I was born in 1999 but I wish that I could have lived through the nineties at least as a teenager just everything about it is so beautiful and cool I love how the women more neutral and natural looking makeup with big poofy bouncy hair everyone just seemed so much classier even if they were the biggest slut. Ughhhh it's like I'm reminiscing on something that I never got the chance to live through.







Now I'm stuck with all of the stupid teenage girls in my generation looking up to females like this

Yes I am aware I have a zit, and my bangs look funky because I pushed them aside for you to see my face. My friends tell me I'm overly self conscious about my "natural face", and that I look fine. I usually wear makeup. Especially to fill in my brows, they are patchy and uneven due to a combination of genetics and hitting my head as a child. Anywho, do I actually look ok without makeup? I'd like a cold read from strangers, rather than the slight bias my friends and family have.

I have heard plenty of people say, "make up is like lying to other people because you don't look like that with it off."

So, I guess my over all question is do you think make up enhances natural beauty or is it falsifying a look?

I tend to use make up on my eyes to enhance them, however I have also used make up as a cover up for blemishes. But not to change the look of my whole face.

I'm not asking about the attractiveness of these girls in general, but really their makeup look. Also guys, which do you find more attractive in general? The lighter, fresher look or the smokier, sexier look?

**By lighter and fresher I do not mean as light as just mascara and some blush. I mean like in the picture how she is wearing makeup but used natural colors.
