There is this girl about two months ago that wanted to be my friend again as we haven't seen each other in 8 years. We are both 18. She is the daughter of a friend of my mom. We were friends in elementary school.

Here's advice from my mom:
No fake rapping or singing. Be yourself.
Girls like guys who don't talk/text too much.
Don't get to know her too well. Just be her friend. (Until I visit the girl I like this summer if I ever have that chance.)
Say something like hey what's up beautiful (or her first name) how u doing.
Have a normal tone, don't sound harsh.
My mom has said things like "I'm a girl, I know what girls like."
Mom thinks girls like guys who have style, such as fluffy hair with no cuts. With my 0-and-1 haircut she thinks I'll go bald.

Here's advice from my dad:
Keep it sexy, not goofy.
Call her sexy, NOT beautiful.
Act like the bad boy. Get her wet.
Don't ask her childish, immature or stupid questions. Ever. According to my dad, I "screwed up" by asking her a question if she likes pizza or breadsticks better but she did have immediate responses to the question. (My dad still makes fun of this question I asked the girl once whenever I bring up advice for dealing with girls and the girl I like.)*
*In addition, random food questions should be limited to exotic foods such as hummus, rather than international or American food such as pizza or breadsticks.
Don't be too nice or quiet. That's gay. Be loud, clear and straight-forward.
My dad has said things like "I'm a dude, I know! Trust me!"
Dad thinks girls like guys who don't have shitty hair (it better be rad like the 0-and-1 Mom doesn't like and the goatee).

The girl I like refuses to answer hard questions like how was school or what her goal is, but answers weekend plan questions and how the weather is around her area and what she is allergic to (a little allergic to oranges, but nothing much).

I was a big time reader of King Magazine back when i was in high school, during that time i remember coming across this issue.
in case you don't recognize that woman in the front cover is Free, she used to host that show 106 & Park from 2000 to 2005. in this magazine she spoke a lot about how she loves being sexy and seducing. she also spoke on how most men underestimate women when it comes to sexuality nowadays. she claimed that deep inside all women love being sexy and going as far saying that every woman has fantasize about being a stripper at least once in her life time.

anyways i think this is very true and hard to deny. i mean after all since our own existence we men have always done the chasing and logically thinking a woman no matter how sexy she may be the odds are that she will never be chased unless she has the confidence to be proud and show off what she blessed with, a major problem that most women here in America have.

I mean I never heard of any women out there having to take dance class to learn how to wiggle their hips, shake their asses, etc yet women been doing this since ancient times, look at all them Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Chinese, etc. hieroglyphics if you don't believe me. i also remember a lot of girls who had crushes on me in my early teen days used to act like strippers themselves whenever we had the roof for ourselves, such as grinding on me and licking my ears etc to get me started. during them days i also remember having almost one GB of naked pics that all the girls I used to cyber with back in them days for a reason.

My best friend and I always wondered this.

My best friends father was a good loving father, but he died when my best friend was a child.

My father was an ok father, but when I was a child he abandoned my family for another woman, took all the money and left us poor. My father is still alive today but I have no idea where he is.

My best friend thinks I have it worse. His reasoning is that at least his father loved him and his family enough to wanna stay, and even though he's dead, he's happy that at least he had a father that cared. He thinks I have it worse because he thinks it's worse to have a living father who doesn't even care about his kids and family and he said that a living father who doesn't care might as well be dead..

I think my best friend has it worse. Becuase my father is still alive, there's always a small chance that maybe perhaps, we could have a relationship again. But my best friends father is dead, so he has no chance at all to have anything with his father.

What are your thoughts? Which is worse and why?

Like just be honest and say which one is worse, my best friend and I don't care about comparing suffering, and neither does philosophy. So please don't say "you shouldn't compare suffering", just answer the question.
