I think that women receive little to no drawbacks from being introverted, given that it's not to the extent of her being a mute who can't communicate properly. Men, on the other hand, receive a lot of drawback by being introverted. This is because it alligns with gender biology. Men are biologally wired to be aggressive and conquer. Women can be the same, but it looks much different from a general standpoint. It's much more socially acceptable for a woman to be reserved and shy in comparison to a man. This is for a reason... biology!

Introverts a lot of the times have an inability to speak their mind. Extroverts, in general, have much better communication skills, and are often more successful in life due to the fact that networking plays a huge factor in your income and career status. Being outgoing and social will also help you with dating as well.

Being able to effectively communicate with others is vital, and the fact that extroverts openly communicate their thoughts with less hesitation and second-guessing... well, it puts them out there to open more relationships in general that could benefit them.

Introverts from my experience often make horrible leaders as well. Sure, there are introverted exceptions, but I'm speaking in the general scheme of things here. I don't equate introversion to be socially inept either, but I see that all too often on here.
