This is a situation which just happened to me about 15 minutes ago in my dorm.

Be me-- a person in the corner of the lobby watching TV shows on your laptop, just chilling. It is 3:15AM, and it is a college campus known for quite a bit of partying. Prime drunk-party-people-returning time.

People are passing by to open the locked door to get their individual dorm room. A girl is standing by the door. Two people walk up and knock on the door to be let in (they are lazy and don't want to get their key out). Nothing unusual.

That is, until you hear the girl standing by the door talking to the people who just got let in. You take your headphones off to see if there is trouble. "Is there something wrong?" you ask.

The two guys say, "Nah, she just is drunk."
She replies, "I don't even drink! I swear to God I don't I drink! I can't see. I don't know what is happening."

*the two guys make a joke like "Well open your eyes girl! *laughing*" *
After a bit of hearing her say she doesn't drink again... the guys say "Well, not our problem." They then walk on and laugh a little more.

TL;DR; 3:15AM You are chillin watching movies at your college dorm lobby. You overhear a girl saying to two random dudes passing by that she is having medical problems. The dudes laugh on and tell you she is drunk when you ask. They walk on, she stays sitting on the couch across from you.

What would YOU do here? You are just sitting there, laptop open, with the girl sitting on a different couch. No one else is around.

The rest of the story for the curious cats:
I ended up asking her what is wrong. She said she didn't know but was having vision problems. She refused to accept me calling for help or whatnot. She just wanted a walk back to her dorm and she was afraid she'd pass out again. I said ok and walked with her back to her dorm. On the way there, she said was feeling better and her vision was better too.

In hindsight, I probably should've asked for her number and to call me if something went wrong again since all her friends were out of town, but oh well. Hopefully she is doing better.

I hope I'm not being a burden to everyone but I'm a 20 year old community college male student just sick and tired and bottling everything up. I deal with a lot of stress from my family problems (living with my parents), job and school. I'm struggling with my current math class in community college with my highest test grade being a 67% for that class. I was never good at math to begin with but I'm taking more math classes in community college anyway to transfer to University and get a major in Software Engineering since the majority of other college degrees that doesn't require a lot of math classes are useless here in the US.

There were many times where I just felt like quitting college and just hanging myself since I'm just no use to society at all and doesn't know how to use real world common sense if it meant saving his own life. Before I enrolled in community college, I once have already attempted to enlist in the military to help my financial and family problems up a bit but was unfortunately permanently DQ'd for a very small medical reason (my amblyopia/lazy eye affecting my eye pupil movement on the check up phase in MEPS) so don't give me the military enlistment advice since that didn't work out for me either.

I've asked questions like this on GAG and the internet many times but in all honesty, I just never felt comfortable with being open with my frustrations and anger to anyone, not even to my family members (my parents can't help me worth crap). I've thought about talking to a psychologist but I don't know if I even have enough time and money for them.

I'm a 20 year old American guy who's currently enrolled in college here in the state of AZ. My left eye is a very strong normal eye and can read 20/20 while with my lazy right eye, the highest vision level I can read is somewhere between 20/70-20-100ish. Although I technically wasn't diagnosed of ADHD by an actual psychiatrist or professional, I was diagnosed by my public school (at some behavioral center that they have) back when I was in elementary school. As of right now, I do try to be attentive when people try to tell me something but at times, still daydream a bit and then politely try to ask the person to repeat some of the things he/she just told me. As for my physical body shape and condition, I run a lot of miles and occasionally lift weights. I also used to box when I was younger.

Are these huge red flags if I plan on becoming a police officer?
