Just out of curiosity, but I noticed that women these days seem to have no standards, and the few of us who do are written off as gold diggers or snobs in an effort to make us lower our standards.

Like for instance, if a woman wanted to wait say 6 months to a year to have sex, most men are not going to put in the effort to be with that women because other women are much more willing to open their legs. Why wait 6 months for one when you can have multiple within the span of a few days?

Or if a woman wants a man to make a certain amount of money, she's a gold digger. I know for me, I would want a man to make at least what I make because I do not want to be taking care of a grown ass man. However, I've been called a gold digger because of this (which is dumb. I'm a teacher and make less than $45,000 a year). Yet I know many women who are married, but their husbands make half of what they make, and the men like it because the responsibility of providing isn't really on their shoulders.

I had a friend who struggles in the area of looks, too. She's about average build and pretty, but men seem to only want thin white women. However, these guys are often overweight themselves and do not necessarily take care of themselves. But women are so desperate to want a man that they'll accept it. However, she and I both know that if she wanted a body builder guy then she'd be considered ridiculous.

Or the latest argument is women should pay for themselves on a date instead of the man paying. Not saying men should always pay, but for some reason women do not require guys to pay on the first date anymore. Women who do are seen as shallow.


These things weren't really even issue up until maybe 15 years ago.


So do you think that if women as a whole brought back standards that men would put more effort into dating?

For example how many times a queston regarding "Who pays for the first date had been asked or questions about " Do you like tattoos? or similar had been asked among many other questions posted here.

Should this site implement some sort of a guildeline and let people know only a certain amount of questions could be asked when the question is the same or very similar?

Guys, what am i doing wrong?

It seems like the guys who are the most straightforward are players or assholes!

I rarely reject anyone, cos i like to give people a chance. But at the same time, i never ask anyone out, but i do flirt with them
And all i get is guys staring at me, but i assume they aren't interested cos they're friendlier towards other girls.

One guy, was act hot and cold the entire year. He was being really friendly, the next day, being a cold unfriendly asshole and ignoring me when i say hi. Then getting angry when i talk to other guys. He also tells his friends not to talk to me, probably cos it makes him jealous. Then i find out that he has a girlfriend that he's in love with!!

Yet he tells his uncle "i really like Keziah, but i dunno, cos i tried saying hi to her but she didn't seem interested, i dunno what to do!"
But i dont see ANY effort coming from him, except from staring at me. He also tells other people (who im friends/aquaintances with) that he thinks im beautiful etc.
But it's really shitty, cos he has a girlfriend, i feel like he wants to mess with people's feelings!

Another guy, I went on a date with yesterday, he got only £10 out the cash point, took me to McDonald's and then got mad when i wanted a latte for £1.60, rather than a 50p orange juice. Then we went to the pub, and made me pay for the drinks "cos he has no money left and it was ONLY fair". Then he took me down a dodgy road and insisted that we sit on a bench, then he said "what do you think of couples who kiss and make out on public benches?" and i said that "its not my type of thing". Then i sat on another bench away from him and he called me a bitch, then i said "ok bye". I wasn't that interested in the guy, but i thought i might as well give him a chance. Also, i spent more money on him, than he did on me! I think he only wanted to use me!
