I go to a university for my dental procedures where students give dental care at a cheaper price. My dentist is a girl in her final year of dentistry school and I have a HUGE secret crush on her.

Today, I was under "Laughing Gas" & The girl... let's just call her Rachel... was giving me some shots and doing a procedure and she had a female student dentist in her second year assisting her.

My Dentist said, "It took you awhile for the laughing gas to kick in. The numbing medicine too." I nodded my head. "It takes awhile for you."

I was sitting there high as a kite and I said, "Yeah, it takes me awhile for everything... uhm. Not everything... some things.. sometimes..."

They turned and looked at each other. I couldn't tell if they were giggling or not. Afterward, I told her that she did good and gave her a high five. I also told her that she was smart and had a passion for what she does. Then she kind of look at me strangely and flicked her hair. The vibe was odd. It seems that there was a closeness but I can't tell if it was because I was high or not you know?

Side note... She made some comment about how she didn't like the history of medicine part of her dentistry courses. I told her that I loved history... then the conversation somehow turned into a joke about getting a big teddy bear for not being scared during the operation. I told her, "When I was a little kid I had a big teddy bear.." She laughed and asked what it was named, "Teddy" I said. Then she laughed and said, "You could have named it Theodore." So I told her, "That is a good name. LIke Theodore Roosevelt." Then after the operation for some strange reason she apologized at the desk for not liking history class. Then she tried to tell me that she liked Anthropology though. Why was she apologizing you know? It seemed like trying to impress me..

So age is getting to me and i think this is the last time i will be able to have long hair as the top of my head has started receding, and although i have quite thick hair its started thinning out on top (I blame my mum for giving me a middle parting in school :P ). I have not had my hair cut for about a year as i been growing it, so i need to give it a style or a good trim.

Ultimately i will just shave it off and go bald and beard when it gets beyond workable, but i hope i have a little bit more time before then.

So i spoken to a few friends and they suggested slicking it back like i have had before, or something else which i obviously didn't care for as i forgotten it now!

So any suggestions? I need it to go with the way i dress. Here are a few pics of how i generally dress my self, its a mixture of my music am into, so some western/rock/grunge sort of look

I was working with this really nice lady, at least so I thought, a few years ago and we hit things off and had chemistry together. I was in the middle of a break up and she said she was amazed with how much love and care I was giving my ex.
We didn't date because she had a boyfriend and a son, but by the end of the summer, they had split and we're in custody battles.
So we started talking and I asked her out. We were originally gonna see mission Impossible for the first date, but she never responded the day of the date.
She said something with her ex came up and she wasn't able to respond.
She said a few weeks later she was talking with someone else and appreciated my interest.
About a month later she started talking to me again, and we arranged a dinner date, but her sister wanted to come and she said they'd all meet me at the place. They didn't show up, and I messaged her asking where she was and she said they weren't ready like a half hour later. I asked why I couldn't get a heads up, and she said she was busy. I got mad and asked her what her intentions were and she said she couldn't answer me at that moment.
After a week, I blocked her.

Did I do the right thing?
Was I even gonna get a fair try?
