What kind of car do you have? Has anyone ever said that to you?
Does your car fit you?
What kind of car do you have? Has anyone ever said that to you?
hmm. Not sure.
I have acute quirky tastes in products and end up overanalyzing the shit out ofvthem before buying.
I actually own many cars due to it being a hobby of mine to tweak and perfect/modify sports cars.
List of cars I've owned:
85' Honda Accord Gold Manual 5 speed.
Super fun first car. It was bulletproof and light weight, and fun to drive.
96' Camaro Z28 t-top. White. Second car.
Also super fun. Very fast. Still own this one. I've spent many hours working on it and have installed and modified every part myself. I know the whole car inside and out. See photos for a shot of my white camaro.
ZFG Rx7. I have this one sitting in a garage in San Jose. It's an rx7 with a built ford 5.0 engine swap. Here's a video of me working on the motor:
I've attached a photo of this one here as well.
99' mitsubishi eclipse with green wide body kit. I loved this one. (see attached photo) Same ecact body kit.
01' Toyota Corolla. This is the car I drive every day. I love the way the suspension and drivetrain are engineered on this car. Toyota really did a great job with it. I want to get a window decal or bumper sticker that says 'enjoy your car payment' because I only paid $1,500 for it and it's a great 30+ mpg commuter car. (see attached photos for what it looks like).
As you can see, I give no shits about status symbols, so yeah I guess all my cars fit my personality, each one is fun in its own way.
If I were to sell them all and buy just one car I'd be torn by a few options:
I'd either get a bmw i3, subaru forester, newer toyota corolla or a convertable corvette.
The i3 would be cool because it's all electric and actually has a nice interior. The forester would be cool because I could actually go to the snow and carry my snowboard easily. A newer corolla would be cool bcause its the most economically responsible and its a fine well engineered car. And the corvette would just be tons of fun because it's a two seater sports car that's actually fast.
I've been kinda wanting a sportbike fir a while now too, so I might get one of those pretty soon too.
A lot of people like dull coloured cars, presumably so they fit in with the rest. Orange is quite flamboyant and individualistic. Does that reflect your personality?
Sure, sometimea cars fit personality. I have a little blue volkswagen jetta. I've been told it suited me because its tiny like i am lol.
Yeah my dodge journey screams mom. Everyone knows it's mine

Yeah I think cars do describe people unless they say they hate it. I have s Jeep Compass and it does fit me. The dream is a wrangler tho lol but i think that fits my personality. Both cars do
In a way, but I think some people are surprised by it. I think a lot of people assume I drive like a Mustang GT or some car like that. What do you think I drive?
Most douchebags need a newer, more badddasss ride to prop up and polish their douche badging, because the world knows that a bro with a new ride >>> a loser with an old ride (note douchey use of logical operators in the sweet argument).
Seriously, though, there have been people who are surprised I drive an '85 Ford Truck, like just because I can afford something newer means I should buy it. Honestly it was a truck that was given to me years ago by an uncle, and it sat at my dad's shop for years because it wouldn't run. When I got some cash I put some work into it and got the thing running, and I sold the old Honda I was driving at the time. I've never been one to base my self image off the car I drive. I drove an '87 Honda Prelude for years, and it pained me to get rid of it, because that thing was bulletproof.

It's loud and unreliable.
Just like me :)
Yes, ironically they do.. usually you buy cars in your price range, then you pick something that represents you. My ride is a BMW 325xi
The only time it doesn’t really count, is when your super broke and will just take anything.
I have a work truck and a 1978 firebird formula I guess so
I have a bunch of beat up old farm trucks and some nice redone cars.
All my farm trucks are from 1980 through the 90's nothing newer then 1994
I'm a farmer so do them fit me
I have an Audi A3, and maybe two three people said that it fits me.
I know a lot of different personalities who own an Audi A3 too.
So i don't think you can tell the personality of someone because of a car
Cars these days are made for midgets. I'm 6' 9". When are they gonna start making cars to fit NORMAL people, again?
@Wally48 Yeah, I've heard of that!
Have you ever seen the cars of the `40's? You could play football in one of those things!! Last week, I tried to get into a car behind the wheel and even though the seat was back as far as it's go I STILL had to force myself in!!! That's ridiculous!!! 60, 70 years ago, people WERE midgets!! But they built cars and houses big enough to park a battle ship in and each room had its own Zip code!! Now that people are much taller, everything's made for gerbils and ants!!! How stupid is that?
Without fail anyone in an old Merc or BMW is a cunt.
You own what you like, therefor you are what you own.
Nope. I bought my car because it was super cheap and had low miles. It is not my style of car at all.
I have a Delica. Not all of you here may be familiar with the marque. I'm always ready for an upgrade...
No it dose not and I'm looking to upgrade to a more comfortable car in the near future.
My son is 6'4" and really wanted a Subaru, but couldn't fit into even their biggest models. He settled on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Very comfortable and there is plenty of room for his girlfriend, their big dog and lots of luggage. Gets good mileage with that Pentastar V6 engine too.
Well i drive a
Mk1 mazda mx5, I ain't gay or a hairdresser
Lexus RX350. I guess it means I like reliable luxury?
My car is unremarkable and so am I. So yeah, I guess.
I have a CRV... ready for upgrade soon...
@Robertcw ahaha.. that has always been my goal with cars :P
around $10k less than 100k and less than 10 years... will give me about 6 years to run to the ground lol...
heard bmw high maint.
thinking about Lexus 350... can put in a few more dollars... save up for end of 2019 or end of 2010...
my crv should handle another yr. or so...
