Search Results: crying for no reason

This woman and I work reception together at work, so we spend 8 hours per day sitting together. It was great for the first couple years, and I even considered her to be a friend. I didn’t mind being around her, even though I’m an introvert and it’s hard for me to be around anyone that much.

But I've just realized I don’t like for her that much, and since I realized it, it’s been hard for me to sit with her that much and pretend like I’m her friend. What should I do? Am I overreacting?

These are the reasons:

-She makes everything about her, even issues I’m having. For example, I recently got rejected from my dream job (I’ve been trying to advance past reception) and I started crying. She texted me later, asking what was wrong and I told her.. she offered some response about how it wasn’t meant to be. But then shortly after, she texted me saying her eyes were swollen from crying and when I asked her what was wrong she said she felt like a complete failure in life.. when I was just telling her about how I got rejected from this job! Like she can’t stand being the one that doesn’t have the drama going on..

-She seems worried that I’m going to befriend her other friends and work and appears to want to keep me from making friends with them. For example, when one of them starts talking to me and we start getting along, the woman in question will interrupt and say something like “so are we still having dinner tonight?” to her friend, therefore leaving me out completely.

Also, she asked a bunch of women at work to be her bridesmaids and totally left me out..

-I’m pretty sure she’s just marrying her fiancé for money. I’m not sure that she really loves him. There’s a lot of reasons why, but the main one is that they’re getting married in a month and she just doesn’t seem excited at all. Also, she’s making him spend all this money on things he doesn’t want to spend money on and he’s a total pushover and letting her do it. And he’s 20 years older.

I had a relationship that lasted almost 7 years. During our relationship, it was not perfect, there were misunderstanding. And he cheated not just once. I loved him so much, so I forgave him. Until time came, I got tired of the pain, and I gave up. He begged but I made up my mind and my heart. No turning back but I asked him why he cheated on me and his answer was like this, "You loved me so much, I feel like no matter what I'll do, you will always forgive and accept me." I cried. I was speechless. I moved on. Then there was a new guy, we lasted a year. He also cheated and he gave the same reason.

Is it really my fault that when I love, I love truly and whole-heartedly? Should I change it then?
