Growing up I had to learn not to care about how I looked. I was picked on from elementary through high school. Even if I wanted to dress nice, I'd get picked on for it. So, i wore jeans that didn't fit and sweaters or hoodies all the time. Eventually as emo became a thing, i went that route. Then as a young adult my confidence came from being a flirt. I'd go out dancing and flirt with guys who wanted to take me home. I never did because I was so insecure inside, but the invitation always gave me a boost. It was later in my twenties that I finally healed and matured from all of that insecurity. I'm not 100% over it all the time, but I'd say 90% of the time I'm secure in who I am and my personality that my body doesn't need to be given attention for my confidence.

What's your story/journey?

so as a little background. Currently I work in a hospital cafeteria. I hate it. I mean I like that my customers are basically my friends since the majority are nurses and doctors who I see EVERY day. However we're constantly understaffed. It's only recently that I've gone at least a month now without working at least 1 60+ hour week making $10 an hour. I'm tired. We've also gotten new management and this idiot doesn't even know the difference between a pint and a cup *this was seriously a question I had to answer for him..*
I also HATE food service, I mean it's OKAY but not what I want to do with my life.

Anyway I now have an opportunity to work in a warehouse for $12 an hour. The woman said it would be in the inspection department... meaning I wouldn't even have to do the heavy lifting, just inspect for damage and make sure things are wrapped up.

Here's the problem though...
It's for a "temp to hire" agency. I've heard good things about it. But they're a new agency to MY area and I've never worked for a temp place before. The woman on the phone sounded confident that As long as I do good and don't call in I'd have no problem getting hired, but is this worth the risk? I mean
.. I REALLY hate my current job. I have no interest in it being my future, even if my manager wasn't completely stupid, it's. Not what I want forever.

I mean.. before gyms were all closed because of Coronavirus.. I used to go to gym 3 or 4 days a week

I love fitness
I love the gym
It makes me feel good and more confident about myself
And also enjoy learning different workouts from other women at the gym lol 😆


But ONE of my friends hates the gym
She would always say to me:

- "I hate the gym.. its so useless"
Or
- "I hate the gym because I hate working out"
Or
- "I hate the gym because there's so many germs around"
Or
- "why do you always go gym? Just workout at home. You dont need to gym to workout"

Like wtf lol 😕

Why do some people (like my friend) hate the gyms?
